Tori's Place — Restaurant in Colebrook

I have been into Tori's 3 times now, twice to eat there, but I write this review based on the time I did NOT eat there.

First, I get to say the donuts at Tori's are AMAZING and so worth eating there. Oh my goodness, gracious, their donuts are amazing... Oh goodness, I just drooled. Lol!

Their service is also the best and that is what I wrote to this time. One of my family members is a Type 1 Diabetic. This member of my family is extremely careful about diet and very rarely deviates from that diet. So, we decided to deviate that day and head to Tori's. Once we get that, however, my family member chose to not eat there.

This is not ideal, especially standing at the counter.

So we asked where we could go because I am still new to the area and do not eat out and my family member had never been there. This is what made Tori's a 5 star rating. The lady at the counter chose grace and helped us find another option that met not only the pallet of my family member, it also was an amazing suggestion.

She did not have to give a suggestion, she could have had an attitude, but instead she supported the local businesses and encouraged us to eat local. Granted, I prefer Tori's donuts to what we are, but it was good and my family was well treated which cements my loyalty to Tori's.

I am so grateful and appreciative of their customer service. And, for their kindness, I will only go to Tori's when I need a donut.

I did not have a positive experience when I went Their . A coworker recommended this place to me and it was close by where I’m staying so I went. After giving my order to the young lady behind the counter, she put it in the bag next to the register. There was another girl there cashing people out. When she finish cashing her Customer out another young lady came up and she cashed someone else out as I stood waiting to cash out my order she went to the young lady behind me to take her order. Tori's place will forever have a special place in my heart! In less than 24 hours, Tori perfectly crafted the sweetest gender reveal a family could ask for! She was so friendly and genuinely excited to help us. She baked each family member the most delicious, fluffy doughnut filled with sweet buttercream. The catch, only one was filled with the revealing color and coordinated sprinkles. My children had a blast trying to figure who got the special doughnut this morning!

I also can't recommend the breakfast and lunch menu more! There was a point during this pregnancy where the only thing I could eat was the bacon egg and cheese on a gluten free bagel- so...
