OK, OK OK. It is only fair that I update my review of this restaurant. I originally complained about the operating hours for this restaurant, however, I was notified that the restaurant was closed that week. I have since been able to visit this restaurant Four times, in a very short amount of time. The food is really just that good. This place hands-down has the best crab legs on the south side. The crabs at this location are thick and meaty, not overcooked, and seasoned to perfection. I have tried pretty much all of the crab locations on the southside and this place knocks the others out of the ballpark by a long shot. You will definitely get your moneys worth at this location. Out of my four visit these were the “smallest” (not really small) crab legs, they served me and they made up for it by putting in an extra claw without me requesting. That is how you do it people! That’s business integrity, and they have definitely locked me in as a regular customer. I cannot speak for the other items on the menu as I always get snow crabs. I now recommend this place to people that don’t even live on the southside because it is...
Read moreI hadn’t stepped foot in Crab Pot Lounge restaurant in nearly a decade—life just got busy, and time flew by. But when I finally walked into his new location, not only did the atmosphere feel like coming home, he recognized me instantly. After all these years, he remembered my face, my usual order, and even a few stories we’d shared back at the old spot. That kind of genuine connection is rare.
As for the food? It’s still nothing short of incredible. Somehow, even better than I remembered. Every bite was packed with flavor, heart, and the unmistakable touch of someone who truly loves what they do. It’s not just a meal—it’s an experience, and it reminded me why I fell in love with this place in the first place.
So grateful to see Crab Pot Lounge is thriving in its new home. If you haven’t been yet, go. And if you have—go again. You won’t be...
