Crab Pot Lounge — Restaurant in Georgia

Food is great!!! Service was a bit hectic because he opened up on a Sunday and didnt have any front of house support to take orders or service the guest that dined in....food looked and tasted great!!! The reason I CANT rate them a 5 is because the OWNER took my order for my family, I personally ordered the most expensive platter they have it's like $45 alone and advertised that it comes with King Crab, lobster tails, etc...I specifically asked "Do yall have King Crab and Lobster, because I asked about a few items initially and he was like let me go check, I dont think we have any (it was conch that I inquired about)...but he assured me that they did have King Crab and Lobster tails....well after waiting a while our food finally came out and it looked delicious...well after starting to eat my platter I noticed I had NO LOBSTER TAILS AT ALL......I'm like hold up now, I asked specifically did they have and I definitely paid "Lobster tail money" and there isnt the first piece of lobster in here...so I waved down the owner and told him my concern he then proceeded to tell me he "meant to tell me they didnt have lobster tails"........👀👀👀....he then went on to say I can give u some snow crab clusters and I'm like Heck no!!! I want King Crab!!! Dont try to give me no "basic crab" when I paid top dollar for Lobster tails...he did accommodate me, but that put a REALLLLLL SOUR TASTE in my mouth. My family did enjoy their food and I certainly did....my whole thing is what if I didnt go through my plate to ensure all items stated were in my box??...what if I ordered it to go?? Heck I live all the way down in McDonough Ga! No telling when I would ever be back...

Ive been going to this place since 2015. Their food has always been good. They make everything fresh to order so sometimes there is a wait. The longest ive waited was an hour + but it was memorial day weekend and there was already so many people in there when i came, so it was expected. The wait time is inevitable, so call ahead if you can.. and if they dont answer the phone you already know that its swamped in there so be prepared to wait.

The food has always tasted amazing to me. There was a point where i was going up there 4x a month when they had their Decatur location open!

4 stars because of the unexpected closings without notice sometimes + they've went down on their portion size and up on the prices. The amount of food that i get now when i order is pretty small compared to what i used to get. Their menu now says how many clusters you'll get, so i guess thats them making more money so they can become bigger and better i guess!

Their owner has always been very nice and back when the place was next to the discount mall the girls at the counter knew me by name bc of how much i used to go there! they were always very sweet and kind. Hope this place continues to grow and get...

First I must say the food was very good and the portion sizes were great!. Start with a positive the food, the portions, and that mystery drink was delicious. However the College Park location on Godby is not open any longer they are in the transitional stage of relocating but they failed to mention that on the website. I was visiting from Texas and we drove from where we were staying in Alpharetta to that location only to find out it was no longer there. We called the number and from the website and the recording informed us of this change and gave the other location in Decatur which was another 30 minute drive in traffic. So we get there we spoke with Bre she was nonchalant said a sarcastic sorry you had to drive all that way but they didn't put it on the website and not sure if they'll update it but what would you like to order lol.. I was astonished at the customer service being so uncaring. We ordered anyway since we did all that driving and the food was worth the drive but the customer...
