I tried to support black businesses and hope that they are successful. My experience at the restaurant on old national Highway was troubling on numerous occasions when I went to pay with cash the cashier decided to keep my change I asked her why did she not give me back my change and she was very rude and said we don’t have any change so I asked her why was that? Her statement to me was that she don’t know, and that I was getting on her nerves for asking what is rightfully mine I stated to her that that’s not the right thing to do and I wouldn’t mind giving a tip, but don’t just take my money and look at me and say well what you want me to do this happened a few times and I thought that maybe I can understand it. Sometimes some businesses may not have changed and I didn’t worry about it, but she literally made the statement to me. You do this all the time which is not true cause sometimes I use my card and sometimes I have to cash in my pocket I asked her who was the manager she rudely said that he’s not here. I proceeded to ask her What was her manager‘s name and she said that she’s not giving it to me and he is not going to talk to me anyway. I couldn’t believe the unprofessionalism that I was receiving from a restaurant that has a good reputation for food. This will cause failures for business for ignorance. This is about principles and values and respect as I respect every business and everyone. I have reached out to try to find someone with authority to report this situation and let them know that this was very unprofessional. And disrespectful to customers. Such ignorance and disrespect shouldn’t be tolerated and not acceptable I don’t mind giving people tips in which I do most of the time anyway, but don’t take my money and they’ll give me back was owed to me and allow me to give you what I would like if I choose to do that 99% of the time food is taken out it’s not a real eat and restaurant, but I don’t think that I will be going back no time soon. This has really frustrating me as being a professional myself and a person of values. Even after she was disrespectful, the cop came out from the back and asked me what was going on. I shared with him and And he understood, but I knew he couldn’t help me with any situation as then she stated while I could give him his money back anyway, and don’t worry about none of it. Deplorable unacceptable and this type of disrespect is not warranted I usually spend $40 or more no less when I’ve been there and I will say that I’ve been there at least 4 to 5 Times. I don’t live nowhere close to that location but if I’m at LA fitness on old national Highway on Wednesdays, I would stop...
Read moreDuring my recent visit to Atlanta, I encountered several frustrating customer service experiences that left me disappointed and honestly just drained. After dealing with delays, lack of communication, and overall poor treatment, I was feeling defeated and, to top it off, extremely hungry. That’s when I came across Mr. T and Soraya — and let me tell you, they were a breath of fresh air.
From the moment I walked in, I noticed their positive energy. Even though the place was busy and fast-paced, they never once lost their patience or composure. They greeted every customer with a smile and made sure no one felt ignored or rushed. It was clear that they cared about their work and the people they were serving.
Mr. T and Soraya didn’t just provide service — they created an experience. They worked so well together, like a well-oiled machine, communicating and supporting one another with ease. Their professionalism, kindness, and ability to stay calm and pleasant under pressure was truly impressive. It felt genuine, not forced, and that made all the difference.
As someone who works in customer service myself, and as a property manager, I know how demanding this kind of work can be — especially when it’s busy. That’s why I truly respect and value what they did. It’s not easy to maintain that level of excellence, but they did it effortlessly and with grace.
In a city where my expectations were repeatedly let down, Mr. T and Soraya reminded me what true customer service looks like. They made a stressful day a whole lot better, and I will never forget the way they made me feel — welcomed, respected, and appreciated. Atlanta needs more...
Read moreDisappointed AF. An absolute waste of $50 for 2 subpar basic meals. I don't see what all the hype is about but this ain't it. Stopped by this place because my daughter wanted to eat here. Photos of the food served were very misleading and deceptive. What was posted and what we actually received was totally different. Wings, twent tiny, dry, overcooked and hard AF. Tasted like it was cooked days ago and thrown back in the grease. DuhF. My daughters's grilled chicken strips was raw AF. Had it sent back to be remade only for it to come back out shredded and bland AF Rice is not hibachi rice but more like cajun rice. They gave me the tiniest piece of salmon they could find and that was dry, bland, flavorless AF. Asked for ice cup for my canned soda that was not cold and the cashier with braids said "we don't have no ice". Further saying their fountain drinks are"nt served with ice. Really? What kind of food establishment serves drinks without the option of ice so you can drink your beverage cold if you want to. In my honest opinion, definitely not worth the money I spent. On top of the food not being good the portion size was not filling and I'm still hungry AF. Tried it wont...
