I came here with my mother and aunt and was very upset by the treatment of my family and I. My aunt and mom are regulars here and they go every chance they get. We were told to leave by one of the female managers after being given a go ahead by a security guard. The establishment has an arbitrary age policy of 30 and up and the manager was drawn to a female family member. There were several people under the age of 30 in the establishment that spoke to my family members. I honestly was just confused by the circumstance. This was insane. I wonāt be visiting again, Iām 30. I feel that even if they truly enforced this policy, thereās a way to speak to people. We were cornered by the manager and she gave us a play by play of our movements. Then she proceeded to tell us that we needed to leave in the most condescending, unnecessary tone Iāve ever had anyone use to speak to adults. I donāt think she saw my mother and aunt nearby, who were shocked that someone would speak to us that way. After my mother swearing that this was not normal, we decided to leave and find a better place to patronize. Just a warning if youāre considering visiting. Make sure youāre 30 at the right time of...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI went here on a Sunday with a friend. Upon walking in, I was approached by security. As I stood in the door, he opened my purse pouch that was around my waist and didn't think I felt him do it. I felt him doing it and asked why are you opening my purse? He stood in silence because he didn't think I can feel him trying to open it. He was trying to rob me. We paid $5 dollars to enter and when I tell you it was smokey, you could not see. The music and dj were loud and it was really, hood, dirty and crowded. It's definitely a fire hazard. The security kept saying "make a hole"! I'm like where are we going to go, it's packed. If there was a fire, ppl would die. This place needs to be reported to the Fire Marshall.
Also, the cashier at the door is a little mentally challenged. We left to go to the car, but wanted to come back in, so the "almost thief" stamped our hand so we could come back. Once we came back, we showed our stamps and told her that we were already in here. She then proceeded to argue with us about her not giving us a stamp, which she didn't. She tried to make us pay again and acted like she never saw us.
Do better or shut it down, I'll...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis spot was chosen to celebrate a co-workers birthday. What do I have to lose considering it maybe 5 miles from my house. We rolled to this spot after work from Gwinett County. Most of us live on this side of town and nothing like taking a chill on Old Nash. This place is located on the right side of this strip mall towards the back. Grown Folks I'd located in the same plaza.
We got there early. No problem because she gathered some tables. Glad we did because it started getting crowded quickly. First round if drinks were okay but slightly weak. We asked the server to have the next round tweaked. I dont know why these bartenders olay with folks who look like they got some experience with alcohol. Next round was perfect. We ordered food. It took forever. Had it not been for the cigars and hookah entertaining me I would have forgotten I ordered. However the whole chicken wings were good.
I like this spot. It's just right. Nobody being a nuisance. Nice mix of old and new music. If you don't like smoke, do not go to this spot....
