Footnotes Cafe — Restaurant in College Park

I ordered a Caramel Coffee, the only Caramel drink on the menu. The cashier misunderstood my order. It was house Grand and she just added syrup("caramel"). When I pointed out this mistake, she said that I would have to pay the difference for a drink that was her mistake. I then requested to talk to a manager- explaining it was her mistake. The result was that I would still have to pay difference! It should have have been excused since it was their misunderstanding. This is bad business and confusing, if there is a different Caramel drink they should post it on the menu. The Manager said the extra syrup is 40 cents. Coffee is $2.45. So the Caramel drink cost $4.65. It is bad...

The servers are generally nice even though I sometimes see them at like 3am to get coffee during the finals week. One thing different from all other Starbucks is that their caramel macchiato keeps me awake for overnight and through next day. I do overnights for exams and their caramel macchiato is what I get all the time...

Charged extra for syrup when in general the drink is supposed to come with the syrup. Didn't try to hear me out when I tried to explain in the past I have not been charged for syrup when I order a matcha latte and in general the drink comes with the syrup with no...
