Inspect your food before you leave. I ate here a few times and it was fine but the last time I had hair in a sandwich I ordered. I ordered samosas and a sandwich and ate the samosas in the restaurant before leaving. I walked to a library 10 minutes from there and started eating the sandwich when I saw it. The chicken was already smaller than I expected but I was just going to deal with it until I saw that. I tried to call before I had to walk all the way back over because it was cold outside and I wasn’t going to stay in the restaurant after either. No one answered so I walked over. I didn’t want to carry the nasty sandwich since I was so close to eating a hair off of it, so I took pictures of it and threw it in the trash. When I spoke to the manager, I didn’t yell or get disrespectful but he was being condescending telling me “I been making food for 30 years. If hair fell into the 350 degree oil it would burn and disappear.” When I said “so hair could’ve fell in?” He didn’t answer the question and continued to talk down to me. He didn’t believe the pictures I showed even after showing him multiple photos. He said I have to physically bring it in to prove it. He said everyone was wearing a hat there’s no way hair could’ve fell in. He had a chest-length beard with ‘no netting’ on hanging from his face and I stared at it silently after he said that. I attached the pictures I showed him that he said were not sufficient. I came back again later with my father and he was giving the same excuses but without the condescending tone. He started saying he didn’t say anything to me (he was talking way more than I was for both interactions) after I asked him if he thought I was lying. He never answered the question. He kept cutting me off when I told him what he said and kept talking about how the hair would’ve burned and showing my dad his restaurant reviews. Then he implied it was AI generated. I showed him a picture of it in the trash cause he seemed to believe I ate it and came back to just to get my money. I’m not coming back after that. I got treated like a scammer because I didn’t notice a hair in my food (which shouldn’t have been there in the first place) before leaving the store. I got the impression he couldn’t believe they could ever make mistake during the entire interaction.

Legends Halal Grill earns a solid 4-star rating, thanks to its quality halal offerings, but there are a few areas where the experience could be improved. The honey butter chicken sandwich impressed with its perfectly cooked chicken and a delightful hint of sweetness from the honey butter—but for $8, the sandwich was a bit on the small side. The samosas were crispy and flavorful, and the fries hit the mark as a reliable side. I also tried the combo platter featuring chicken, gyro, rice, and salad. While the flavors were good and the ingredients were fresh, the portion sizes left something to be desired. The fish strips didn’t fare any better; they were dry and lacked meat, and a side of tartar sauce might have saved the dish. An off-putting moment came when a worker—who appeared to be a manager—sat at a nearby table on break, watching as I ate. This unusual situation slightly marred the otherwise relaxed dining atmosphere. Overall, while the initial $35 price suggested great value, the smaller portion sizes and occasional missteps in presentation prevented the meal from feeling like a perfect deal. Still, for those seeking quality halal food with a few tweaks needed here and there, Legends Halal Grill is definitely worth a visit.

If you haven't tried this place yet, you are missing out. The flavor you get in every bite is amazing! I typically don't go out for lunch and it just so happens I came in here to order the nuggets and fries for my daughter. I hesitated in placing an order, but so glad that I did order the gyro over rice. I was hooked! That was last week. I needed some comfort food today and my first thought was to come back here. I tried the combo and the chicken is so good. The flavor of the rice to the spiciness of everything, you will not be disappointed. You can't go wrong with anything over rice that you order.

I went to have some lunch and the place looked empty which was one of red flags. I looked at the menu but couldn’t decide so I asked the only person that was working behind the counter if she would recommend anything and she said the rice over chicken and gyro is good. I asked her if I could see the gyro which she did but it didn’t look appetizing so I decided to just get the rice over chicken. She brought the food out in a couple minutes so I started eating and a couple minutes later she offered me a free “new item” from the menu and brought one piece of chicken leg to my table. I thanked her and told her that I would try it. Took a bite it tasted really old and funny(like something that has stayed over night and they were about to throw it out) so I just left it and tried to continue with the meal but it just closed my appetite so I stopped eating, cleaned up and went to the bathroom to wash my hand. That’s went it happened EVERYTHING I just ate literally all went back out in the sink 🤮🤒. I asked the lady what she served me and if it was even fresh?? She said “yea it fresh” which I highly doubt cuz I didn’t even she her make the food and it was only one employee. I told her that what she gave me made me throw up and that it made me sick which she didn’t even care about. So I asked to refund me back my money and she said “NO I WONT” in a rude tone. I told her she could go see the sink if she wanted but she didn’t care. It’s like they were IN NEED for the money!! I decided to call the police n they told me to wait which I did. The manager or owner came a couple minutes later and said what do you want? I told him the cops are on their way so he could talk to them but he said “GET OUT”again really rude so I can tell where the employee gets it from. Long story short they wouldn’t give me back my refund so I won’t EVER COME BACK AND I SUGGEST OTHERS NOT TO COME TO THE PLACE TOO. RUDE SERVICE AND UNHEALTHY OLD FOOD 🤮🤮. DON’T...
