McDonald's — Restaurant in College Park

Came into the McDonald's on a Tuesday night 2/20/24 not very busy. The inside closed already at 6:30. I go through the drive-thru and tell them I'm Uber eats they said go ahead and come around to pick up the order. As I wait in the line behind three cars once I get up to the window the young lady didn't understand how the Uber eats worked! So I was explaining to her because she was asking for a number. So I showed her the order with the name and everything and said it was 13 cookies. A young man comes and tells me also that I need a number. I explained to him the same thing. So they go and get the manager who's now telling me I need a number. Not once did she come to look at what the order was on my phone. She continues to tell me that I need a number. So the young lady just asked me to pull up because there were cars behind. So now I have to wait again. So I pull up and now I'm still waiting. I get out and I go to the window with my phone to see what's taking so long for cookies? The manager says you can cancel the order! After I've been there for about 25 minutes this is what she suggest to me. I told her why would I cancel the order while I've been waiting all this time for it. Then she proceeded to say the order is now ready after she told me to cancel and that they had to cook the cookies. So you could have ask me what the order was while I was in the line. The manager wanted to be so right that she wasted my time and the people who order that I was picking up. I couldn't believe that she was in charge I feel sorry for her co-workers. It was so simple but she wanted to be right. As I pull off I see more Uber and doordash workers going to the door. You can't have easily put a note on the door for delivery. All that for...

My daughter loves her a happy meal. If it was up to my daughter she would eat there every. The sandwiches are cold the cheese doesn't even melt. You must check your order before leaving the drive thru.

You specifically tell them what you want only to get to the window or home and find that you not even gotten what you ordered. It's like you place the order and the clerk reads your orde back to you, or it pops up on the screen for your review. Then your food pops up on the screen inside for cooks to prepare your order. My thing is that you dont want to take the time to read the screen. I won't say you can't read, b/c you wouldn't even have the job. I just say that you're being lazy and don't want to take the time to read the order.

This McDonald's is in a great location right off the highway, businesses on the left and right of the restaurant, so much traffic passing by, and very visual along the road. So how is it you continue to have so many bad reviews and fail at finding adequate management to focus on customer service???!!! Come on now take pride in your business and brand name. I get your making profits, but you could always make more, and build a better reputation for hot and fresh food, excellent customer service, and employees who care about representing their community.

I'm so over quantity verses quality. Not every business should use this...especially in food service or any business for that matter. I like quality versus quantity. It keeps you coming back for more. I most definitely don't mind driving to another location for my quality...

I ordered a crosandwich with hashbrowns. I proceeded up Old National till I got to the interstate and when I reach out for my sandwich to grab a bite there was none so when I got to the location where I was going at the train station I looked everywhere for that sandwich and did not have my crew sandwich now I got to tell you the service was great the people of great Ivan tip them in the end I didn't get my sandwich and you know I couldn't go back it would have been feasible at that point. So let me just say my life is over the sandwich that I missed last night at 3 in the morning at the McDonald's at Old National and Godby Road. I'm not mad at nobody just that I had a taste for it it was recommended and unfortunately I'm still tripping about it hours later. I'm not even trying to get the sandwich back at this point I'm just mad because I couldn't fulfill my taste buds. So there it is my night My Lan sandwich but I will say that they have found it taste good the tea with lemon was perfect the only thing that was a follow back on what happened. What advice would I give anybody going to McDonald's on Godby and Old National Check your bag make sure everything is there and continue to shopping cuz they were at the top of their game last night. They were very professional beautiful kind-hearted so my issue is not with them individually last you was with the sandwich that I did not get. Have a good day get ready for some good time and...
