Five-Star Experience with Bartender Ashlen at the Piano Bar – Atlanta Airport I had the pleasure of stopping by the Piano Bar during a layover at the Atlanta Airport, and what started as a quick drink turned into one of the highlights of my trip – all thanks to Ashlen, the incredible bartender on duty. From the moment I took a seat, Ashlen’s customer service was top-tier. She greeted me with a warm smile, genuine enthusiasm, and the kind of hospitality that immediately made the bustling terminal melt away. Despite the steady stream of travelers, she made every guest feel like they were the only one in the room. Her attentiveness, professionalism, and kind demeanor were truly refreshing. Now let’s talk cocktails. Ashlen’s mixology skills are nothing short of stellar. She has that rare ability to not only execute the classics to perfection but to also craft drinks with a creative flair that reflects deep knowledge and passion for her craft. I ordered an Old Fashioned, and it was one of the best I’ve ever had – perfectly balanced, beautifully presented, and crafted with care. I watched her prepare several other drinks for patrons around me, and each one was art in a glass. Ashlen is the kind of bartender that turns a layover into an experience. If you’re passing through ATL, do yourself a favor and stop by the Piano Bar. You’ll get great drinks, even better service, and if you're lucky, Ashlen will be behind the bar making your visit...
Read moreWorst experience I’ve ever had in a service establishment. Stood in line waiting for drinks for 20 mins. Finally had a gentleman help us get drinks. He didn’t work there. The bartender acknowledged us and then didn’t make the drinks. The man who got their attention then said “hey these people are still waiting on their drinks if you could help” and he ignored because he couldn’t hear over the loud music being played over a personal speaker by the staff. The man then pointed out “maybe you could hear your customers you could get them drinks” the “manager” then came up, a large woman with fake blonde hair and contacts. She said he could leave and they are the only bar open right now and we could deal with it. He told her it was their job to serve people and she should be more helpful. She then proceeded to turn the music up louder, and one of her staff came up and told the elderly man he would make “one phone call and have hun thrown out” and then cut the man off who was coherent and not being loud or obnoxious. The large woman should not be managing anything other than her...
Read moreA Hidden Gem at ATL – Ashlen Made My Day As someone who travels frequently for work, airport bars usually blur together — rushed service, average drinks, and minimal interaction. But my recent visit to the Piano Bar at the Atlanta Airport was a rare exception, thanks to the outstanding bartender, Ashlen. From the moment I walked up, Ashlen was attentive, professional, and genuinely welcoming. It’s clear she takes pride in her work — not just in mixing drinks but in creating a comfortable, elevated experience for every customer. I was traveling alone, and she managed to strike that perfect balance of friendly conversation without being overbearing — something only the most seasoned hospitality pros can do well. Her cocktail skills? Absolutely top-notch. I ordered a Negroni, and she nailed it — perfectly measured, expertly stirred, and served with finesse. Watching her work behind the bar was impressive; she’s efficient, confident, and clearly knowledgeable about her craft. I even saw her recommend a custom cocktail to another guest based on their taste preferences — and...
