My friend and I recently purchased tickets to their Christmas event, and we got there 30 minutes after the event started only to find the place completely empty and locked up. We messaged them about it, but they did not post about the event being cancelled until 30+ minutes after even though the talent had posted sooner. In all honesty though, I find that even more suspicious since this was supposed to be a catered event anyway and there was no sign of catering crew. Either they had shown up and left after finding it empty, or the order was cancelled in advance. Not only that, but it has been a mess getting refunded. We were told to go through the ticket purchasing site, yet the site rep stated since the event wasn’t cancelled by the Corner on their end we were ineligible for refunds. So right now we are out the price of tickets and we paid for parking. Last but not least, I had sent them a DM while we were locked out, only for them to read it two days later (which I don’t mind) but they left me on seen instead of offering directions for reimbursement or any words of apology.
Update: I messaged them again inquiring if the issue will be fixed and they apologized and said they asked the talent to expedite handling these issues as they were in charge of ticketing, not the Corner. They also stated to let them know should I need...
Read moreThe service at the bar was great. The drinks were good. I enjoyed the atmosphere. Accidentally, I left my phone on the table when we left. When I went back to get it it, 15 Min later I encountered an employee who stated I would I have to wait until tomorrow to get my phone back as the bar was closed and we weren’t supposed to be inside. He was short and rude. He stated there were at least 3 people who had lost their phone that night. Unbeknownst to hm, Another employee approached us with something behind his back. I asked if we could call the phone to see if it would ring, which we did, and surprise my phone rang from behind the employees back. I got my phone back! Hurray! You’d think this would be a better experience But the person who initially said I couldn’t have my phone back continued to berate me for leaving my phone. I don’t understand why this person felt the urge to behave this way. My guess is that thIs person isn’t the owner of the bar and isn’t concerned with my feeling of loss when I realized my phone had been left on the table. I’m glad I got my phone back. Came to College Station for a leadership development convention and was excited to see some of the nightlife after the convention was over with. Visited on Latin night and proceeded to move to the 2nd floor of the establishment. Was met with incredibly slow bar staff, at times felt completely ignored when trying to get a drink. It must have taken me over 30 minutes to get a drink, which is unheard-of, even packed bars in Midtown, Houston would get you your drinks faster than here.
