Absolutely horrible experience rooted in such a minor issue. They delivered my breadsticks without marinara sauce. Simple as that. However when I called the store to get a refund I was given the options of deliver a new marinara (which I declined due to breadsticks would be cold by then) and then I was given the option of delivering all new breadsticks and marinara. Both options didn’t work for me as breadsticks would be cold in the first situation by the time it would be delivered me and the second scenario meant I had to eat pizza before my breadsticks, again minor seeming but the experience I wanted wouldn't have been met. I explained the the supervisor the night of that I wanted a refund because her options did work. She responded with “my manager isn’t big on giving refunds”. This is where I realized that leadership was lacking. I informed her that I don’t care who is big on what and that as a customer I want a refund for the breadsticks due to a service failure and her options not adequately rectifying my situation. She argued it while I worked to coach her on proper leadership and ended up taking my number for the manager to call me the next day. Next day comes and goes with no call. I call the following day and get a man on the phone, another “manager”. He says the same thing and gets very defensive toward me regarding the situation. Inexcusable. He takes my number yet again and gives no guarantee that the manager will in fact call me. I am not sure who is in leadership here, but you should be ashamed. As a career leader myself this is poor training, poor management, and poor customer service all tied in to one. You should never tell a customer, whom is in the right, that you will not give a refund because you aren’t big on giving them. That’s utterly ridiculous. Sadly I do not blame the leaders I spoke to on the phone, I blame the GM for not preparing her employees for the leadership role they are in and for not calling me back as I was told would happen. This is an example of how a small issue can become a complete loss of customer when a simple apology and a $6 refund could have been given. Not to mention now a google review. Get it together Pizza Hut. Train your folks, equip them for success. No excuse what so ever.
I will adjust my review if/when I receive a call back and allow for this location to redeem itself. These reviews go a long way, when the pizza market in this area is flooded with...
Read moreIf I could give negative stars I would. My fiancé and I placed a mobile order around 8:40 pm after many attempts calling the store getting the call center my order was out for delivery at 9pm. I live in an apartment complex that has building numbers and apartment numbers while the building number was on our address I put the apartment number in my initial order but for some reason it didn’t transfer to the store. So at 9:26 I called the Main store and was told that the driver was outside and didn’t have An apartment number so she didn’t know where to go. When I told him where we were he said “well she’s in a white truck it’s a DoorDash driver so we don’t have a way to call her all I can tell you is she’s outside” so I went downstairs and she said “are you waiting for pizza, you didn’t put an apartment number they told me to leave it right here on the sidewalk or take it back to Pizza Hut” of course the food was cold and there was no marinara for the breadsticks. My fiancé called the store and the person who answered the phone was rude - he told her he wasn’t remaking the food and to call his manager in the morning. He stated he wasn’t dealing with the issue. She said well I don’t want the money back can you remake it and we can come get it now. He said he wasn’t remaking the food and repeated to call his manager in the morning and hung up in her face. He had a terrible attitude and terrible customer service. We’ve spent way too much money at this location, and never really had an issue like this one. Chris, the manager (who the employee told us to contact ) should be embarrassed to have whomever it was working and answering the phones on Thursday December 12 around 930pm. Yes I will be calling, $40 is a bit much...
Read moreWorst experience with Pizza Hut ever! I pre-ordered a large supreme and a large pepperoni for carry out. I drove up to the window, paid for my pizzas and then heard the guy at the window shout back to another employee that he has the wrong pizza (loudly, in front of me, the customer). He leaned out the window and apologized for not having our pepperoni pizza ready. He told me to drive around the drive-through while he made another one and then said he would also give me a free pizza. I drove around and got behind two other patrons. When I got up to the window, he handed the freshly made pepperoni pizza and another large pizza (I should have checked it, but didn't) and thanked me for my patience. I thought, "What about the free pizza?" but then thought he probably put a coupon in with the receipt stuffed in the edge of one of the pizza boxes. Come to find out, there was no free pizza or coupon for one! Finally, when I got home, I found out that they didn't give me the supreme pizza I'd ordered! I got chicken, banana peppers, onion, pepperoni, and half pineapple (I don't even like pineapple). So here I waited for them to get my order right, they still didn't get it right and didn't bother to give me the free pizza he said he'd give me. I really wouldn't have expected a free pizza and wouldn't have minded waiting, but they still got it wrong. Why did they even offer...
