Tasty Donuts — Restaurant in Chattanooga

We came here after we had dinner in the plaza because we wanted to end the night with a sweet treat. I was pleasantly surprised to see that this placed closed late. There was also live music and a small crowd in the middle of Cambridge Square, so it was nice that we could pop in for a sweet treat and enjoy a show after.

This place was pretty popular even when we walked in. There was a small line in front of us, but the cashiers were quick to get to us. When we were in line there were a couple of donuts that were completely out, presumably very popular donuts. Despite this, they still had a huge variety to choose from. I got a half dozen glazed donut holes and a strawberry jam filled glazed donut.

I started with the donut holes and honestly, I probably could've got a dozen for myself. They were delicious, bite sized, and had a nice soft and chewy texture. I loved it, no complaints. For the next morning, I had my strawberry jam glazed donut. The next day, texture held up pretty well. It was still soft and chewy. I had my first bite and was so surprised and how much jam there was inside. Tasty Donuts does not play about filling. It was good. The jam was slightly too sweet for me, but it didn't take away from my experience. It was still tasty.

Called in an order 15 minutes ahead of time on a Thursday morning for two dozen glazed donuts and two pots of coffee to go. When I arrived there was only one person in front of me ordering a mixed dozen. My total wait time was nearly a half hour to get my donuts and coffee for a meeting. A long wait time maybe understandable if they were packed, but they were not. Donuts and coffee are a lot of folks go to for a fast grab morning meeting treat. If you need aquick stop for a tasty morning treat I highly recommend going somewhere else.

Edit: 2/28/2020 Please note the reply from the bussiness....not at all interested in seeking to improve based on customer feedback but rather further detracting from the business credibility by making excuses and trivializing the details....it's simple...if your business is coffee and doughnuts (which historical is a fast first thing in the morning food) you should have doughnuts and coffee ready to go in abundance by the time the doors open...

To say im disappointed is an understatement. Picture this, you want to purchase milk, but the store is out, they tell you they'll have milk next month, so you wait then you go back and they say again they still dont have milk their boss hasn't ordered it yet, you're confused but you wait again. Another month goes by and the store STILL doesnt have milk and the store still blames the boss. Thats whats Happening here. You said end of April, then end of May, IT IS NOW THE END OF JUNE 100* OUTSIDE AND YOU STILL DONT HAVE THE SHAVED ICE MACHINE UP!!!! So ill tell you what im gonna do, im not gonna ask again kn fact ANYONE WHO WANTS SHAVED ICE GUESS WHAT!!!! I will be purchasing a shave ice machine and stand outside and sell shaved ice to who ever wants it and then j will be able to maybe get it through your skulls HOW MUCH MONEY you are literally throwing out the door by not getting it together and up...
