I just left this establishment. I come here often. I get off work at 9 and had a very long night at work. I made it before closing, around 9:45, and went through the drive through. As soon as I was greeted, by a male employee, I heard a female in the back ground scream out “OH MY GOD”. I know this was because I had showed up just before closing time. I ignore it, and continue to place my order. I am feeding a family of 4, so I order a family pack of wings. The male tells me it will be a 10 minute wait, which I agree to. Then, the feline I heard in the background, takes over the headset and says. “You still want the family meal?” To which I respond, , “yes.” The female then states in a very strong attitude, “you know we close at 10?” To which I respond, “yes, and I have arrived before 10.” The female worker then had the audacity to pop back, “oh well” in the strongest, most unprofessional Attitude I have ever witnessed. I am understandably angry at this point, and I flip around to the window. She opens the window and just stares at me. I demand her name, of which she refuses and shuts the window on me. She then points to the male worker, whom I assume was originally taking my order. He opens the window, just a crack, and at this point I’m demanding the store managers name. Again, I was just stared at. The window closed back in my face. I sat there at least 3 more minutes ignored before I just left with no information. This is complete nonsense. A customer should not be treated this way at all. This management should really think twice about it’s recruiting because the employees I faced today were an utter disgrace. Read moreWhen I went into the restaurant to pick up my online order I was ignored while they continued thier conversation (all of the employees including the cook) . When I walked in today the last said, “Dine in or Togo”. We advised that it was a pick up order (My order was already ready on the back counter). She turned around and continued her conversation. My husband then said , “Excuse me, that’s my order.” They gave him the food. He checked the food and he was short a tender (he got the 6 finger plate) she got an attitude and put a finger in a box. He proceeded to check my order (I got the wings and thingz) my boneless wings were not sauced. He proceeded to tell the cashier and she said “That’s just how it is.”
It was not busy in the establishment. I was the only customer inside. It was only 1 car in the drive thru. I do not understand how the customer service drastically dropped over the past few months.
I do not mind coworkers talking WHILE WORKING. But for us to have to wait until they finish the conversation is UNACCEPTABLE.
UPDATE: Called down to speak with the manager, Brandon to advise of the situation. His excuse was that he wears many hats even though he was in the kitchen cooking. He cannot monitor what the employees do. He proceeded to say that everything is a matter of opinion and that they are a franchise location and not a corporate location. Read moreThis is definitely the best looking of the Zaxby’s in the area, however, the service sometimes is pretty mediocre. One such experience was when I placed an order on the app for the first time and the funds were accepted but when I opened the app again there was a supposed error. When I arrived at the location and explained the situation to the manager on duty she insisted I just place another order and wait for the original order to be refunded as it was still “pending”. Some of us college students can’t afford that at all times. In fact, I used to work in fast food and as long as our app validated an order we would just make it for the inconvenience on their end. We would then waste out the food later to prevent it from affecting the food cost. This location clearly missed that lesson. There have been occasions where errors have happened at the Shallowford location and they just provided us with what we had ordered. I left that day and just hoped my money would be refunded.
