Well, this couldâve been a 5 star review for fixing our order and making things right. My mom , who is visiting, went to get my husband, my one year old, herself, and myself lunch. We live almost thirty minutes away from this location but she went to the Walmart in ooltewah and stopped at this location on her way back.
Anyways, Iâve been to this location multiple times because I go to the ups over there. My orders have always been correct and everyone has been nice - of course.
Weâll, my mother is deaf first of all and I told that to Morgan the manager⊠which that should give you all some indication she can read lips PERFECTLY.
We were missing my sons chicken strips, mac & cheese, and my moms meal but she received her drink. My mom said they even made her wait in the drive thru for her order. so the one time she doesn't check to make sure she gets everything is, of course, the time things are missing or would be wrong.
So, I call because of course my DEAF MOTHER cannot make phone calls. I informed a girl and the girl let me talk to the manager Morgan. Morgan was polite and nice over the phone there was no indication that he or the girl would be rude to my mother or talk down/gossip about her or any customer.
My mom gets there and walks inâI figured walking in versus a drive thru would make things easier and she could check the food this time in front of them if she wanted to check the order.â Apparently, when they were in the back talking my mom read their lips and the girl said my mom received her order from before and that it was correct.
So, sheâs saying my mom is liar.
So, i guess my mom just kept my sons food from us and made my son go without food? Alright. Because Iâm sure my mom wants to keep my son from having a lunch.
Also, why would someone lie about not getting a dumb chicken sandwhich? Why would we drive THIRTY MINUTES!!!!!!! So my mom could have her lunch? My husband and I each gave her a chicken tender each to hold her over while she gets her sandwhich and my sons lunch. My husband had to give his mac and cheese to our son so he would have something. I had to get some fries out of the freezer and air fry my son some fries.
Listen, for this to be a Christian place you really shouldnât gossip, especially around a person who is deaf and can read lips perfectly. I would know because my whole entire life I couldnât get away with mouthing things to my friends in the back seat of the car I had to cover my mouth so my mom couldnât read my lips.
All in all, I want to say Iâm really disappointed that yâall would gossip âbehindâ a customers back. Maybe wait until they leave next time? I feel that was extremely rude and my mom comes back here to the house and tells me this and says I thought thatâs suppose to be a Christian place with Christianâs who arenât suppose to judge others? I felt like they were judging me the whole time and I saw what that girl was saying âthe order was correctâ
Sorry it wasnât correct and Iâm sorry that yâall apparently get hundreds of people who want to steal lie and cheat your restaurant and the company but my son seriously had no food and my mom asked where her sand-which was -which we figured she had eaten on her way to my house so her food would be hot. but she didnât and we told my mom there isnât anything just mine and my husbands meals and i asked where my sons strips and Mac and cheese were if there was another bag and she said no. So, anyways Iâm just really upset and more upset yâall would gossip in front of a deaf person or any person in general.
I just hope this is a lesson for yâall.
The deaf community deserves respect and your customers deserve...
Read moreFood is always great and most of the employees are great at what they do. Today however one employee tried to correct me on something that he got completely wrong. I went to go get a refill and decided I might want sweet tea instead of coke and he said he couldnât because thereâs a price difference. I said it was only 25 cent or something price difference and he should just give me some sweet tea (this is where it goes wrong) he then insisted itâs a dollar difference and I knew that sounded off so I checked on the app⊠itâs 2.65 for a large coke and 2.99 for a large sweet tea. I understand wanted to abide by the rules but the general attitude towards customers should be one of âusually it costs a little extra but I can totally get you some sweet tea just this once!â Not only does that attitude leave costumers satisfied and wanting to come back, which generates much more revenue than 34 cents BUT ALSO it shows employees respect rules enough to educate the general public but not to a point of legalism in which they canât use wisdom enough to know their franchisee isnât going to fire them because ofa 34 cent difference in revenue that has a probability of occurring less than once a day. Wisdom over rules should be a teaching at chick fil a especially. God taught us we can be good stewards of the earth and to not have a scarce mindset. Not to mention it costs for employees to argue about 34 cents with customers. Also I would have loved to purchase the 34 cent upgrade because I really wanted sweet tea BUT I donât think that upgrade is on the menu⊠probably because it is such a petty difference chick fil a doesnât care if a few outliers who got coke will later...
Read moreI pulled into the shortest line, and right after 4 cars pulled into the other line. All the employees left my line and went to help those cars first. Obviously, I'm peeved. It's hot, and I'm sitting in a ton can with my window down. I tell a manager at the receipt checkpoint, that it was irritating to sit there and watch the employees help 4 people that pulled in after me, first. She apologized and I said ok and pulled forward. I wasn't ugly, I just made a complaint, that should of been addressed because their employees should be keeping track of who pulls in first, to avoid issues like this. At the window, I'm told to pull fwd and move out of the way. So I did. After several minutes with no other cars being asked to wait like me, I go inside. My food is just sitting at the window. Nobody has any idea who's it is and I'm treated like I shouldn't be at all upset by this. I'm starting to think there is just something deeply wrong with this area of town because this kind of thing happens all over the place here.
@ the chicfila response: The systematic approach where your employees ignore your customers and forget about their food? I think I'll pass and just no longer go to a restaurant that employs senseless or souless vindictive humans đ€Ł I spent 20 minutes waiting, and only ordered 1 thing and eventually had to go inside. That's not fast food. And it wasn't easy...
