Stopped in for lunch and had a great experience! There are Thai options, sushi, and supposed to be hibachi, although there was a sign that said no hibachi on the day that I was there. Not sure exactly when that is offered? The menu is simple and easily explained for people new to Thai food. The prices are very reasonable, $6.99 for my red curry with chicken. This also came with a spring roll and small bowl of coconut soup. I started my meal with the shrimp basil roll ($4.50). They were good, a nice appetizer to split, but the peanut sauce was a little too sweet for my taste. The coconut soup that comes with lunch is amazing. Very delicious. Hot, creamy, and lots of flavor. Then I had the spring roll. It was my only disappointment of the meal. A little greasy, almost no filling. But it came with it so I moved on lol. The red curry was great. Tender chicken, vegetables, loaded with flavor, and a big generous portion. Especially for that price. You can choose between mild, medium, hot, Thai hot, or Thai hot X2. I went with Thai hot because I like spicy. It was really good. So much flavor. Next time I will try the hottest. The service was quick and attentive. I didn't have any problems, and had everything I needed. The interior is clean and inviting. There were even a few TV's, which I thought was nice. Unusual for an Asian restaurant, but you can see the news headlines or sports updates. I will...
Read moreI arrived at 12:01 PM on a Wednesday for a group lunch with 2 co-workers. One of my co-workers already had a table, so I didn't have to wait to be seated. I ordered the Mango Shrimp for lunch, and for dessert, I ordered the Sticky Rice with Mango. I want to note that they were out of coconut ice cream, and they apparently only had 1 mango left for the sticky rice. So dessert offerings my not be that readily available during the lunch hours. It took 6 minutes and 19 seconds for our table's lunch to arrive, and the dessert took 5 minutes and 35 seconds to arrive. Everyone's lunch came with a spring roll and a cup of ginger dipping sauce. Regarding the lunch, I would've liked more rice with my order, but the food was really good and not spicy. The dessert was really good, too. I do want to note that the waitress didn't ask about how the check would be split and just gave us 1 check. Thankfully, we were able to split it out to 3 separate checks at the front. I'll also note that while it wasn't really packed when we arrived, it got busy quick (to the point where people had to wait to be seated). Regarding the bathroom, its a single bathroom. It was fairly well kept, but the toilet handle was broken that day, so hopefully it gets fixed soon. Also, the bathroom had a paper towel dispenser and not a hand blower. Overall, this was a nice Thai restaurant to get a good,...
Read moreI was born in Thailand and am half Thai, so I grew up on Thai food prepared by my Thai mother. That fact might make me particular to the various ways restaurants cook thai food. I went there with a couple of friends for the first time to try them out and ordered Pad Prik King, one of my favorites. The food came out and I could immediately taste fish in the meat, green beans, rice, and the sauces. Not just fish, but raw fish, like the fish just came out of the water and I was sucking on it's head or something...It was not good to say the least. I tried to power thru it but ended up failing. I brought it up to one of my friends and he said he also tasted fish in his meal as well. Granted, that friend is small, like tiny small, and probably is use to being underwater every time it rains but still. he ordered the exact same thing I ordered. Neither one of our dishes contained fish. It's almost like they used the same wok or whatever that they cook fish in to make our food and didn't clean it before hand. Neither one of us could finish our meal. I also ordered my food medium hot and there was zero kick to it, no heat in the slightest. Other than that, the prices were fair, and the server was good. Will not eat here again or recommend it to any...
