I placed an order online and was given a time when the order would be ready. I actually arrived 5 minutes after time, and the order still wasn't ready. It wasn't crowded at all, but it appeared that they had a lot of online/ call-in orders that they were working on. It was a Friday evening, which is understandable. I ordered 2 bacon cheeseburgers and 2 junior bacon cheeseburgers and 2 large cajun fries. However I noticed the guy putting bacon in a foil pan and covering it up which I found odd but since it wasn't my order I paid it no mind so I assumed because my bacon burgers where over by fry station waiting on fries. Then I heard a guy with foil mumble in my direction and said he was going to put bacon in a bag because they had already wrapped burgers. I was totally confused for a moment and had to ask to repeat .In which he did, and he asked if that was ok. I told him no, it would be best that he put the bacon on the burger then. I asked him why my bacon burgers would be wrapped without the bacon, and his response was asked the guy who wrapped the burgers who, by the way, was the guy waiting for my fries to be done! The fry guy appeared to be under cannabis influence or extremely tired because he was moving real sluggish. Due to the fact of the poor customer service and the lack of correcting the problem, the proper way I would not be returning to Five Guys Collierville. I am big on customer service above all things no matter how good a product might be. Read moreI've been to Five Guys burgers in the past, great customer service and everything has been bright & clean. My visit to this location on 7/20/18 around 2pm. was a bit different. The customer service was great, restaurant bright but the tables and floor was not, there was flies crawling around on several tables and the floor was greasy and slick. My wife and I made up the five customers there and the restaurant had a staff of a manager plus 5 to 6 employees on site at the time. It seem as though they were about to do some cleaning. I noticed the manager gathering the group and pointing at areas as one employee was about to put on some thick black rubber gloves.
It may have been that our timing/visit there was at their "low point ". I like the restaurant chain and will revisit but it was just this occasion that was a bit of a turnoff to me, it had a psychological effect on me which even caused my Double Burger & Strawberry Shake not to be enjoyed as mush as they typically are.

Read moreI sent my husband to get us dinner tonight and It was not up to par this time. First of all we always ask for everything on our burgers Except Absolutely NO ONIONS because well I'm allergic. And this Time they put them on both of course we live deep in Fayette county and didn't realize they were even on there until we got home and started eating. Not to mention they were almost completely hidden under the mushrooms on the bottom of the burger smh. I could have been seriously sick. Also the patties were still pink in the middle😲 Needless to say we have ate there several times and we pay 40$ Every Time we eat there. This shouldn't have happened..Money...
