Mazzio’s Pizza & Wings — Restaurant in Collinsville

DISCLAIMER: I'm honored to be a Top 10 Reviewer for Google. I do my best to be fair and honest but realize your experience may differ from mine. So, please keep that in mind when considering this restaurant, establishment, and/or venue. REVIEW: We re-visited this Mazzios because I had received a coupon for completing an online survey based on our prior visit there a few weeks ago. The coupon came emailed to me upon completing the survey so I just cut it out and took the paper copy with me. The girl at the register couldn't get our order (per the coupon) keyed in correctly and so it kept kicking it out. She asked for help and a man came to assist and said we'd already used the coupon and that it was just a copy of their ad. I stated that I'd just printed it out earlier today from my computer based on an online survey, NOT the ad. He continued to argue about it. Finally, another male employee came to the register (because the line had backed up to the door by this point) and saw where it hadn't been keyed in correctly and fixed the problem. Once we got through that nightmare, we found the buffet sub-par. Only about 6 pizzas on the buffet to choose from and a lot fewer items on their salad buffet than other Mazzios. We live in Collinsville and maybe a year or so ago I called to order delivery and was told our address was outside the delivery boundaries or whatever they called it. I didn't argue with them (I didn't agree with them, though) and just took my business elsewhere. Fast forward to 2 weeks ago, my family is walking through our subdivision and saw a Mazzio's delivery car pull in and deliver pizza. I thought, great, they must be delivering out here now. I called a couple days later and asked for delivery and was again told we were outside the delivery boundaries. I told them that I saw a neighbor get delivery a couple days before. She asked if it was my "next door" neighbor. I told her no, they were around the corner. The lady told me that their address was probably inside the boundary lines then. I told her that our house was actually physically closer to the store than the other one. She said she would check our address again, but there was nothing more she can do. So I told her to never mind, I'm not going to bother with it. I went and picked up pizza elsewhere. Get this: about 4 days after this, I drive home and see the Mazzio's delivery car leaving our subdivision again. I couldn't believe it. I ordered a calzone, medium sausage pizza and cheese dippers with a 20 minute pickup time. I live a decent distance from the store and headed that way as soon as possible around 35ish minutes after ordering. My pizza items were cold, cheese dippers were stale and pizza was flimsy with too much sause. I contacted Mazzios and they bothered to tell me that because is showed up in 35 minutes instead of exactly 20 minutes (cold weather by the way) they wouldn't do anything for me. Pretty poor customer service. I haven't ate at Mazzios in years and this is my first experience after that time? Wow.
