Have been going to the Collinsville sonic for 23 years. I have always said this sonic makes the best drinks. The last 6 months things have gone downhill. First, the drinks like lemon berry sprite have had no strawberries the last 4 times (you pay extra for lemon and strawberry)then twice I got strawberry shakes.... just a few flecks of red and very runny. Tonight I ordered a Carmel Sundae 2.28 I don’t mind paying... it now comes in a small dish I’m guessing a 3-4 oz cup. The cup is not even 3/4 full. Very little ice cream, about 5 or 6 bites using the teaspoon they give you. When I go I always order at least four, dinners, drinks, Sundaes... I always tip the carhop. Most of the time with ice cream you have to ask for napkins, with all the ice cream I orders last night I didn’t get one napkin. I am so disappointed that the quality and quantity is so bad. What a rip off! I’ll drive to Braums for close the the same price and Sonics quality...
Read moreI have had several BAD experiences with the SONIC in the town where I live, however, people kept telling me that I need to go the location in Collinsville (just a few miles north). I had a $10 gift card and was in Collinsville today, so I stopped for lunch around 11:30A. The stalls were not full, but a steady stream of customers came and went while I was there. I pressed the button on the menu board and got a response in less than 10 SECONDS!!! The very pleasant voice from the intercom took my order, read it back to me, and gave me a total. In less than FIVE MINUTES my food arrived at my vehicle. The carhop was very cheerful as she confirmed my order and handed me my food. All of the food was warm and exactly as I had ordered it. KUDDOS COLLINSVILLE SONIC!!! GREAT JOB!!...
Read moreThey constantly get the orders wrong or make them without reading the instructions. Last night the manager working the grill made every single item on a $28 order incorrectly. If the manager can’t do the job correctly how are they supposed to train the employees. My favorite part was this morning when the female manager/supervisor called me thinking I was an employee late for work and starting the conversation with ARE YOU COMING IN TODAY. I don’t work there and I can tell you for a fact that’s not how to talk to an employee let alone some random number you called. If Tardiness is an issue you need to have a private conversation with your...
