Cute place. I’m not sure what the problem was on Friday afternoon. It was busy, which is normal for Friday, but it took 45 minutes to get 2 sandwiches. Would not have minded that considering the volume but it also took a while to receive drink orders so we sat with empty drinks and no food for a bit. I got a cup of soup for my side. Flavor was okay but it was room temp at best. When we got the sandwiches my partner had ordered fries but got (cold) broccoli instead. When the fries were brought out VERY QUICKLY after we pointed it out they were also cold, im guessing they were pulled from a bowl on the pass in the kitchen or an older order that had been sitting and not a fresh drop of fries due to the temperature and quickness it was brought out. My chicken sandwich the chicken patty was about as thick as two slices of deli meat, which for the price point was disappointing. Was not able to convey any of this aside from the fries to the server as she did not ask us once how our food was and only touched our table to take the order, drop food, and drop the bill, she was nice just absent. I’ll say one positive - after finally getting someone that looked halfway like she could give a care if I ordered even a drink, they DID do a custom cut 2” think which is why I gave the second star BUT the service was TERRIBLE— non existent: at one point with my finger in the air politely trying to get ones attention, they literally looked right at me and started slowly coming to me while they finished their casual conversation behind the bar- if this is one of those places where wait staff is supposed to be awful and just be terrible.... you’re doing great. The cook/manager came to our table after they figured out it wasnt a fake and asked us "Do we have a problem here" seems to me as if the guy was very insecure and kicked us out with one single response. It seemed as if he was just trying to start stuff and made a big scene at our table. We did nothing but sit down. I would stay away from here lousy service. The manager was a jerk and made my fiance cry on Mother's Day. I can't imagine the food the guy puts out on the table for his customers talking to them and treating them like that first and foremost.
