Wawa — Restaurant in Colonial Heights

I would have given them a 5 because I loved this was until this morning. I paid for my coffee on my wawa app while my coffee was getting made I paid for my gas then went to pick up my coffee. I talked to a worker for about 5 minutes then heading to pump my gas. I realized my gas wouldn’t pump looked at my app and the 10 dollars was back on my app so I preceded to go find out why now this is where my experience turned.......I go back in to find out the young girl that rang me up had canceled my gas because she was watching me in the store and saw me walk out with a coffee I did not pay for!!! First I had ALREADY paid for my coffee second why was she watching me?!?! So I got my gas canceled and accused of stealing a 2.63 cup of coffee th no form of an apology FROM ANYONE! I talked to a manager and he was the one who told her to cancel my gas!!! I thought the app was suppose to help me not get me accused of stealing, I have never been accused of stealing before and for the first time to be over something I ALREADY paid for is absurd!! I don’t Know if I will ever be back to the wawa I use to go to 2 or more times a day and EVERY SINGLE DAY FOR MY COFFEE!!! Thanks for making me feel like a valued costumer wawa ...

If you’re going to stop at this WaWa, be prepared to smile! From the curious mix of Americana, that is the patrons of this fine establishment, to the epitome of gas station cuisine, nothing disappoints! If one wanted to scour the earth for unparalleled service, one could stop right now! This WaWa has it in spades! You want coffee? They got the best! You want snacks! Well let’s just say, they got that! At one particular moment, I felt as though I was touring the sub base in Groton, CT when I came upon the relentless hoagie options! Do you believe in Heaven??? Yea, I didn’t either (chuckles to self) until that fateful night I crossed the threshold of WaWa #693…. I don’t have kids of my own (that I know of lol) but I pray for the day I can regale of the time I spent at WaWa #669…. If you take away only one thing from this review, let it be the majestic beauty of the most audibly pleasing, tongue tickling, pleasure inducing, rejuvenating sounds of those magical little numbers, that make up WaWa store number...

I used the self check out after ordering my food on the touch screen. The only interaction I had was having my number called and me saying thank you to receive no response. I get home, and start eating and can see the lack of care in making the sub. Mind you it wasn’t busy. I asked for extra Mayo because it wasn’t stocked in the condiments and utensils, which by request caused Mayo to literally run down my hands and drip on the wax paper beneath it. Mac and cheese was good though. The sub however had the majority of the toppings sitting outside of the sub rather than in it. After some reconstruction, I made it work which made me happy to know I also contributed to my diarrhea I’ll be having later for the low price of 16 bucks. Thank you wawa for the expected service and quality I have grown to expect. I’ll try again in a few months mainly because this location used to a be a hot commodity for me, and I crave the nostalgia of a once...
