Went with a few friends back in 2009. Really interesting. My friends and I had heard that the museum was haunted. I didn't believe it but the group of friends I was with did so we decided to go. We may have been seeing things but we all saw a lady in a white dress looking out the window. She looked like a ghost. We all got scared. Highly recommend, the curator of the museum loves her job and it shows, she had many interesting stories and is very knowlegeable not only about the house but in history in general. Read moreInteresting historic mansion! Civil war era and Ms. Wendy gave a fine tour of the mansion for 1 hour. It's very worth to see the great magnolia tree in the backyard. It's the second largest one, of its kind, in the world! Wow! Planting some violets will be an interesting idea to befit its name! If you are in that area, I recommend a visit....
