Badas Philly — Restaurant in Colonial Heights

I am in town for training for a week. Decided to try some local restaurants and different food than we have where I live at. Got on here and found out about this Philly cheesesteak place decided to try it. I placed a to go order over the phone. They picked the phone up after a couple of rings, the ordering process was very easy and smooth. About 10 minutes later I drove over to the restaurant and paid in person. When I got there, the food was done and I was able to leave immediately. The service was quick and great. Now to the food. The cheesy fries were amazing. I love cheese so they had the perfect amount of cheese and also it actually tasted good. I have had cheese fries with the cheese had a weird taste to it, but this was not that. The fries were hot and crispy and I did not even have to ask for them to be. The cheesesteak was pretty good. I ordered the 777 Philly, which is cheesesteak and chicken with onions, mayo, and cheese. I got the 12 inch sandwich and it was more than enough food. They pile on the meat and cheese. You get your money is worth. With that being said it is not even that expensive for all of the food that I got I paid around $20 I believe and that was mainly because I got two drinks. Overall, I would come back and eat there again. There was no inside seating for a person to eat. I can tell they mainly have it as a order to go place and that works...

I ordered from work and got the text alert that my food would be ready by between 1:17 PM - 1:32 PM. I arrived at 1:23 and there was a already an agitated door dash driver there. I waited for a few minutes, no greeting. Then I asked if they had called my name. I gave him name & he walked to back & grabbed a paper. They hadn't even started it. He told me 5 min. I waited in the car and came back 6 min later (still no greeting). By now I had gotten a second text saying pick up time is now: 1:40 PM - 1:55 PM. After talking to the door dash driver (who was still there) he mentioned that he had been there for 15 minutes. I finally just asked to be refunded. It was about 1:42, and I needed to be back to work and still get lunch.

The menu looks great, but no one has time to wait for food. Lunch is your busiest time. Hire people! I wish I had time to wait. I really wanted to try it out.

The guy did refund me in cash. So for that I will not drag the establishment. I wish them the best & I hope they...

I don’t even want to put a star up here, but I had to. I picked up 2 Italian subs today, and when I got home to eat, the order was wrong. I had asked for extra mayo, and got none. I asked for it to be hot, and it was cold. Also, the icing on the cake was the piece of hair I found in my food! I called them and asked for them to send me 2 new ones through delivery this time. 45 minutes pass and still no food. I call up there to ask for my money back and they tell me that they will have the delivery driver send it, JUST to get a call back 5 minutes later from the employee saying that the manager I had JUST spoken to wanted me to pick it up instead and they won’t send it out anymore. They were very rude and did not want to give my money back, which is why they were giving me a hard time. When I went to get my refund, the employee I had been speaking to on the phone and had seen before was gone, along with the manager. I do not recommend this place if you want things...
