*IMPORTANT: No longer 24/7. Showed up at 2:30am and their door is locked. Times have already changed here, but very inconvenient when you don't know about it. Great location (only about 5 mins from my house), good parking, nice employees, clean shop. Not a whole lot of negatives. I do think they're stupidly expensive ($17 for 1 dozen), but specialty anything is bound to be more expensive than cheaper versions of the same goods. I asked the girl behind the counter to just pick random donuts to put into the 1 dozen I was bringing into work, and I think she gave me a nice solid selection; they did seem popular among my coworkers. I also bought a crème brulee donut and a small pig in blanket for myself. The pig in blanket was lacking, the sausage was tiny inside the croissant and I think they could've done better in sticking a bigger one in there. But the crème brulee donut... I bit into it and thought I'd died and gone to heaven. One of the best things I've ever eaten. I can only imagine the other donuts were of the same quality. I'll definitely be back in the future, but only on special occasions and when I have the money to afford their prices.

These were the worst and most expensive donuts we’ve ever tried. First, we couldn’t tell if they were open when we pulled up and saw that the drive thru was closed and then saw a small sign on the window that said they were open inside. We went inside and it was quite depressing in there. The staff were not very friendly, and when we asked if the bismark was filled we were told no but they could be w “anything over there” and pointed to an area w filling machines and handwritten labels stating what filling they hold. We paid almost $10 for only 3 donuts!! When we got back to our place we tried these out; the blueberry old fashioned was not cooked and just fell apart when we tried picking it up, the chocolate cake donut was dry and the icing too sweet, the bismark icing was too sweet and the cream inside was so bad. One bite from each and we threw them all away.

Donut bread quality was good . However the level of care that my donuts were packed in was less than desirable. I went there this morning for my daughter‘s 8th birthday she really wanted one of the pink strawberry donuts for breakfast. Needless to say She got little to no frosting due to the way they were packed. As you can see an apple fritter was put on top of it, and they were jammed so much in a tiny box there was no frosting left on my donuts. There is also another chocolate bar underneath that has no frosting due to stacking them on top of each other. I bought another box of donuts haven’t opened it yet but paying $24 for donuts I would hope that more care would have been put into packing. A bit disappointing as a first time customer I’m not sure if this is the way they always pack their donuts unsure if I will return.

Amy's Donuts was once a haven for lovers of all sorts of baked delights. From the twists, cinnamon rolls and, of course, the delicious donuts, everything they made was made freshly everyday and was sumptuous to the last bite. Now? Amy's is a laughing parody of itself.

What happened? Well, there's a new sheriff in town at Amy's and the crew is just terrible, as is the bakery itself. Menu screens no longer work. Prices have skyrocketed $0.49 per donut ($3, seriously?). Service is abysmal. And the donuts just don't taste the same.

I visited one afternoon to hopefully get a fantastic donut in their lively bakery. Not only was it completely empty but I was meet by a strange woman that didn't speak English well and acted very unprofessionally. The first thing I asked was how much the donuts cost, since the menu boards were either off or malfunctioning. When she told me they were $2.99 I almost left.

To add to the misery the restaurant was dirty and there were loads of donuts left. I understood both those points very well after I got in my car and tasted the donut I bought. It was total garbage. It was very dry, not flaky and tasted old. I was immediately disappointed. I was so disappointed it took nearly a month for me to review them.

Adding to the chaos is their most recent Health Dept. report card, which cited them for cleanliness, both in the dining room and in the kitchen. Standards have dropped significantly, which explains the decrease in quality for their food and customer service.

Overall, Amy's is a hard pass for me. At one time, I would've highly recommended them as a dessert oasis. Now, I don't look their way as I pass them on my way to my walking-distance apartment. I guess it's time to lose...

Exceptional doughnuts. Our hotel recommended them as the place to go in town. We were picking up a couple dozen (plus) as a thank you for the nurses on the hospital where my mother in law had surgery. When we walked in with two boxes and a few donut hole bags, the nursing staff actually whooped. Guess we chose the right place.

Huge variety of unique donuts without going overboard. I’ve had Voodoo’s and though they are ok, I’ve felt they were overdone with flavors. Amy’s however did them just right without overpowering you. The Orange creamsicle was awesome! Though my favorite will always be the bag of a dozen yeast raised donuts holes. Perfectly light tasting and sweet.

The one negative I had was I said we were buying at least 2 dozen variety pack plus some extras for various people. Such as a cinnamon twist for my MiL, which I asked to be put in a small bag by itself. That seemed to be a problem initially. Maybe because those bags are usually for the dozen donut holes, but getting across our needs wasn’t the easiest.

The employee was okay, but not very personable. Maybe it was a language barrier, or she was just having a rough afternoon. Did make the experience a bit less then though. Won’t stop me from going again but it did stop me from leaving a tip, which I normally do, especially on a large order like this of 2 1/2 dozen donuts, two bag of donut holes and an extra...

Superb donut place with some really good raised and cake donuts options. They have two clever options not typically found in other donut shops that we have visited:

  1. Their raised, round, powdered donut is not pre-filled and the filling type is customer selectable. He was generous with the raspberry filling 😃
  2. Although not advertised, they will add crushed nuts to any plain frosted donut. My wife requested peanuts, but it seemed like they were walnuts. Either way, it is a great option considering how hard it is to find nut-topped donuts these days.

I got an Almond Joy and Bananas Foster, 1 of 3 banana-themes donuts offered that night. Realizing that offering banana on a donut can be challenging, I wasn't too thrilled to discover the bananas were dehydrated pieces. Still, not bad. Also got a chocolate glazed cake donut, which is also more rare than you would think. Their cake donuts had wonderful, crispy edges.

We showed up on a Thursday evening at around 8 and were the only ones there. The man behind the counter was not very chatty, but got the job done. He seemed a little glum for someone who works in a donut shop, but I guess any job can be a drag at times. Though we had the place to ourselves, by the time we were leaving, three customer groups showed up, so it seems we caught a lull.

We are from Utah and I am really glad this place isn't closer or I would weigh a half a ton...
