Tortilleria Delicias #2 — Restaurant in Colorado Springs

Went there a few days back and I don’t recommend at all. I went in bc my husband said it was ok food, we walked in and the place looked abandoned with like the tables just there and the entrance all cluttered. We waited a bit to be attended I had to almost yell to get service a few times, we got tacos and sat down. It was so lonely and sad and depressing not even music was playing nothing, we got our food my husband ate fast bc he was starving but I ate a bite and omg so disgusting the meat tasted like weird and I hated the tacos I threw them away the tortillas are from a package not homemade at all, the waitress we had didn’t come over at all, no napkins my husband went over to ask for some none of the 3 people there helped out just ignored us and my hubby went around the tables to get napkins, I got a piña agua that was the only...

Mal servicio y customer service even the owner dont know how to handle the business and make their customer happy i am a manager at one mexican retaurant and dont matter what. the customer always right even if they wrong but i speak with the owner and he was acting all mean just because we ask for some tortillas we never ask for getting free ofcourse we have to pay it but he refuse because he said he only give tortillas when the customer eat at restaurant inside. We are a regular customer but with this problem with the owner treating customers like that we wont be returning. Ordered a 32oz cup of menudo to go, price was $15ish and comes with sides of fresh hot tortillas, oregano, diced onions and a lime wedge.

Personally, I love lime so I wish there’d give more along with onion. It’s a good serving!

The menudo and tortillas were very hot, just the way we love it. Came home and served a bowl and now I have plenty left over. Could feed 2-3 people ☺️

The flavor is sooo full, I’m Mexican and my family cooks- and this felt like a bowl of menudo from my grandma. Spicy, heavy on the meat and flavorful.

I will come back just for the menudo.
