Taco star — Restaurant in Colorado Springs

Never again will I throw my money away at this restaurant. I drove through on my way home from work because they're the only place open aside from Taco Bell, but I should have just skipped it since my food was not even edible. I ordered Carne Asada Fries w/ extra cheese. There was definitely extra cheese, but that's about the only thing that was good about it. The fries were undercooked, as in not even warm, and they were soaking wet! I feel like the wetness came from the fries having been frozen then not even cooked enough to get rid of the moisture, but it could have been that they were sitting in a puddle of grease from the meat. Then, they drowned the fries in so much guacamole & sour cream you couldn't even see them through it. Normally, I would have just eaten the meat & cheese off the top, but their Carne Asada was so bland and had a weird gritty texture.

I took 3 bites from different areas and they were all disgusting. There's a huge difference between food that's not great, but edible & food that's just straight disgusting. This was disgusting.

I decided to give them another chance. The worst customer service in town. This is the second time I ordered one number 10 combo with two churros. The lady at the window charged me for two number 10 combos, this is the second time she has done this. When I was in the military, every country I went to I learned the languages and was respectful.

This lady is rude, arrogant and knows how to speak English today she claimed she only speaks Spanish, well you just lost a loyal customer lady and you can go back to the country from which you came since you want to play I can't speak English card.

When I confronted her she threw up her hands and started shouting, the only English words were you always order two and I told her I did not, then she slammed the window on me.

I got home and the food didn't even have a jalapeño in it like it is supposed to. But they can upcharge you extra for the food because of the pandemic, that is just another way of cheating you, how dare they take advantage of a national pandemic.

You are in my country. GO HOME if you can't learn another countries language you are living in. You are pathetic at customer service and deserve whatever you get, karma...

This chain is fairly new to the area. As time goes by their services continues to decrease. I have been going to this location since they opened. My last and final visit I ordered a fish taco and also a Carne Asada taco. The cashier had trouble hearing me and repeated back a different order which was no issues. So I responded "I'm sorry no". and repeated my order in a calm manner. Cashier then puts me down in Spanish probably thinking I would not understand she call me a dumb idiot. (Censored) I pulled up to the window and handed the cook my money as the cashier left her post. They took their time bringing my order and also over cooked my meal and gave me old tortilla's for my tacos which broke apart immediately. Seeing as they got my order wrong; they added beans and rice to the order. The beans were the only thing edible in the entire order. Everything else was discarded.
