El Super Taco Mariscos — Restaurant in Colorado Springs

I'm editting an old review, they really have improved as far as consistency goes. The food was always high quality, but the amount that I had gotten a few months back really seemed to vary greatly, and sometimes it was fantastic, I almost got 2 meals out of the order, and it was only like 7 bucks (I gave a 2 dollar tip which I felt I could afford just because the food was such a great value) but one time I really got the short end of that stick back then. I'll say that in reality it probably evened out.

Nowadays though, it's pretty consistent in what they serve. You should try the salsas in the bar by the counter, they're pretty good. If you hadn't been anywhere in the Springs and wanted to eat, I'd probably recommend this, especially before 11 am since it opens early (I think 7 am?) .

The food really is good. The shredded chicken is top notch, you can tell that they care about it. I hope you try this place out if you haven't. It's the kind of place I'd like to see stick around for...

TERRIBLE SERVICE AND FOOD! I ordered online and came 5 minutes after the order was supposed to be ready. However, they clearly hadn't started my order, and just wrote down my order on a sticky note when I arrived to pick it up and rushed it into the kitchen. After waiting almost another 15 minutes, they said my order was "ready", but shortly after driving away I realized that they didn't even get the order right, leaving rice/beans off of the combo... After pulling back around, waiting another 5 minutes, I got the rice and beans and went home with the order (35 minutes after a "10 minute" online order) only to find that they completely ignored the requests from our online order (didn't take off pico or add the queso I paid EXTRA for)....

Although I'm seeing a lot of great reviews, I have say that I had a pretty bad experience . I just got surgery, and some teeth pulled. So I was looking for soft food. When I open and started eating one of the soft tacos, I ended up biting into a not so soft, razor sharp, chicken bone. I hope it was a chicken bone. Even though I've never seen one that was shaped like a sharks tooth before. Needless to say, it kind of grossed me out as well as hurt my mouth just a bit. Unfortunately I was unable to get myself to eat the other tacos, but from what I was able to eat I didn't like so much. Maybe it was an "off" day on the cooks part, seeing as how the place is still pretty new. Should I try the place again...? If someone else is...
