China Wok — Restaurant in Colorado Springs

I have never been spoken to or had the worst service like I did at this place. I do not eat beef and I ordered the chicken and broccoli to go because the previous time I came the food was great but the waitress is horrible not friendly and she also made me feel like I was a nuisance for asking for napkins when she only gave me 2.She saw that I had my child with me, I clearly need more than 2 napkins so she made me feel horrible but asking for napkins and a straw then when I pick up my order and I had beef and broccoli and not chicken and broccoli. They told me that I was wrong and that the lady who initially picked up the phone said that I received but ordered beef they basically said that I was lying to them which I was not and then they yell at me on the phone twice and just acted like I was some Criminal. If you want a good experience I would definitely recommend going somewhere else not only is the waitress horrible the manager was by far the most unprofessional person I have ever...

Don’t come here. The food is ok, about fleet average for a Chinese restaurant, nothing special. The Panda Express, down in the shopping center near the Vasa Gym, is at least as good, and a lot cheaper. I guess it’s my fault for not just walking out and voting with my feet, but it is grotesquely expensive. I mean, London expensive…New York city expensive. Shake your head and bop yourself in the forehead with the palm or your hand expensive. An order of broccoli chicken, sweet and sour soup and garlic chicken for….38 bucks. I was told you get “two meals from each order.” You don’t, but I guess that’s the fantasy for the huge increase in prices. My chicken and broccoli also somehow were confused with the extra spicy menu for some reason, almost too hot to eat. Somehow related to my unhappiness with the bill? When asked about a tip, I offered “plant your potatoes early this year.” A good tip, right up there with “don’t gamble with someone named Slim.” Shoulda offered that...

My first clue that it was going to be bad should have been the empty restaurant at lunch rush and my ticket being the only service ticket on the rack.

Food, awful. The orange chicken as well as the szechuan chicken were soaked/dripping in oil. The spice was nice on both. The vegetables were poorly cooked. Some were raw, and the carrots overcooked. The "fried" rice is not fried. It looks like white rice cooked in a splash of soy sauce, but not enough to make it have flavor. It truly tastes like air. The egg flower/drop soup has tofu and a boat load of slivered carrots. The tofu was so dark and not at all firm. Very unpleasant.

Service, so-so. The cashier had very little personality taking the order and even less so when I came back in to get it. The bag was sitting on a table and no one was around to make sure it was mine.

Atmosphere, terrible. It's small, dirty feeling, the lego sets on the counter are covered in dust, and no ambiance. Overall a total...
