First off, the people here giving 5 stars and praising the taste are either straight-up lying or have never had decent ramen in their life. When I say this ramen is bad, I mean it is the most bland and tasteless ramen I have ever had in my entire life. Instant ramen made in a microwave tastes better than this.
My wife and I decided to try this place despite the low rating because we had never been here before. The selection was a bit disappointing right off the bat. Then we get our food, and we quickly realize why the rating is so low. After a while, I realize we still haven't gotten our takoyaki appetizer yet, so I walk up to the counter to ask about it. On my way to the counter, I realized two other guests that were eating have just left, their ramen not even half eaten.
Then, when they bring out the takoyaki, that is when I had just had it with this place. They just dropped it in in the fryer and served it as is. No sauce or anything. As I bite into it, I realized it was STILL FROZEN in the center! We just left after that. Avoid this place like the plague and question the sanity of anyone giving it 5 stars, it is...
Read moreThe ramen is very good. The pork was amazing and the creamy veggie broth was so good. The spicy miso is pretty spicy, at least for my taste buds. I thought the price was a bit high, but won’t stop me from eating here again. I have one complaint and that is that the ingredients aren’t clear. Two of the ramens list fish flakes and one doesn’t so one would reasonably believe that the one that doesn’t list it, doesn’t have it. My gf has a fish allergy so that was concerning. Also our fault for not double checking but still feel it should be listed as with the other two. Luckily she realized pretty quick and only had a slight reaction. When it was brought to the attention of one of the workers I felt like she was slightly rude about it and her response was, I don’t write the menu. She did then say she would notify her boss. But no attempt to offer a remake or a refund considering the bowl couldn’t be finished. This does not affect my overall experience or rating. Customer service upon ordering was fine and as I said the food...
Read moreI've been on a hunt for good Ramen especially during these colder days this year. Got tired of Vietnamese Pho. This particular place I believe used to be a crawfish joint. We ordered a seaweed salad and two ramen orders. You can choose to order half a bowl or full size. One of the items we ordered is the House Ramen which is a Tonkotsu base topped with Chicken. The other one is the Tonkotsu with Chashu (pork belly). They were very generous with the meat. Plenty of vegetables in the bowl as well which consists of bean sprouts and spinach. For the price I think they over delivered because there was alot of meat. This restaurant is specifically specialized in Ramen. We liked that the broth wasn't too salty. Also it would be even better if the bowl of soup was a little hotter especially during these single digit days. I think their menu will expand a little as this place just opened. So far it's one of the better places to get Tonkotsu. I will be back to try their other ramen with...
