Golden Flame Hot Wings — Restaurant in Colorado Springs

I recently visited Golden Flame Wings with our friends for dinner, and I must say, it was an incredible experience! They serve delicious wings, both bone-in and boneless, that are sure to satisfy any wing lover.

Their happy hour is unbeatable, running daily from 3-7pm with $4-$6 beers and lots of local beers. We tried the signature Golden Flame and Shanghai Sizzle wings - both flavors were absolutely delicious with the right amount of heat. The garlic fries were also a hit, perfectly seasoned, fresh cut, and crispy. One thing to note, the ranch tasted pretty close to Hidden Valley. Not a deal breaker for us but would love to see a homemade ranch in the future.

The restaurant is equipped with TVs all around, making it an ideal to watch football or any sports game. They even put on a CFB game we requested. The staff was super friendly and allowed us to sample their hot wing sauce flavors before ordering. The food came out quickly and was hot!

Absolute BEST WINGS in Springs!!! 🔥 Hands down. Let me preface with the fact that my husband and I are loyal locals to the original Golden Flame w/Carlos in Aurora, and have been going there for almost 20 years. (Also, DO NOT bother with the Powers location…they bring shame to the name.)

Given our high expectations, they were exceeded here & the GOTG location has stolen our hearts! 🧡We almost cried when everything came out piping hot & piled high, we knew we were home.

The wings here are HUGE, fried perfectly with lots of sauce, the garlic fries are to-die-for and crispy, the sauce selection plus their “golden ketchup” concoction is stupid good. Go for Cool Flicker or Golden Flame on sauce, simple but unique classics & you can’t go wrong.

Love the owners & staff, all are super friendly, it’s always extremely clean and a very easy going atmosphere with tons of TVs. Our fave spot to watch football & hockey with a bomb...

I've never tried Golden Flame Wings before, but after being greeted by Nina and a very clean dining area. Nina at the front immediately greeted me and offered amazing samples. I fell in love!

I placed my order and waited for it to come. The open door kitchen meant I could smell it cooking and see it being plated. I couldn't wait! The sauce is phenomenal, and the signature sauce is absolutely to crave. I hardly like modern buffalo sauce, but the golden wings buffalo sauces were 5/5. The hotest sauce on the menu wasn't inedible either. It tasted so good but also packed heat that flavored it so flawlessly.

And they have beer and honey infused root beer ON TAP!? No other wings place does it like Golden Flame Wings. I was a big WingStop fan, but this is it now. I love Golden Flame Wings and would suggest you try it now today. The prices seem high, but the chicken quality really speaks volumes when it hits...
