Anytime Fitness — Local services in Colorado Springs

After agonizing on how to best continue my quest for fitness, I finally checked into Anytime Fitness in Rockrimmon. Because I have an odd work schedule, the flexible hours (key fob entry 24/7) turned me on. I was given the grand tour and immediately liked the personal nature of this place. Small and quiet, VERY CLEAN and well maintained, with private showers and really nice people. The staff is very friendly and outgoing. Doug Warner, the Manager, is always out talking to the members and manages to personally check in with everyone while he is there. I have been taking Personal Training sessions with Doug for the last six months. He is tough but reasonable and he motivates in a way that keeps me coming back to reach that next level, to lose those next few pounds, to go the extra mile on the cardio machines or to break through the next milestone in my journey. Since I have been a member at Anytime Fitness Rockrimmon, I have seen the place improve. There are more choices when it comes to programs and classes, and not only has the number of members gone up, the quality of the folks that frequent this place has gone up as well. The people are wonderful and never fail to encourage as we all work out. All in all, I am extremely pleased with this club as a whole and with my own training experience...

Very dirty. Every time I work out, I'm cleaning too. They say I can't take a picture of my back for my doctors unless it's in the restroom. REALLY! I also have migraines, but believe me, they don't care. I am looking for a new gym that will work with me and have me be a trainer for them. I can work with anyone with injuries or who just want to be healthy and strong. People there are rude and act like their the only ones having a bad day. I'm fighting for my granddaughter, and today they made it way worse, and they want to know what attonery I'm using. After what happened today, I would never trust the owners attorney for my granddaughter or anything else after being treated like that. Then Carl calls to say I'm not allowed back in. It's funny because I already found another gym. I'm so glad I never call his family for an attorney because I'm sure it runs in the family. It's time for me to get ready for a real workout at my new gym tomorrow. I tried apologizing to a lady with a very bad attitude who opened the blinds after I closed them, then opened them when I was about to leave and I never believed in luck or karma just being blessed and fortunate and you get what you work for and I wish she didn't have to start my day like that but it did end well because now I have an attorney and...

If I could give zero stars I would. I worked at anytime fitness for 5 years. I moved to Colorado and started going to this location. The original owner was very nice and kept the gym up. The new owner Carl, has made this gym an unpleasant location. The bathrooms are not up to par, there is limited equipment and classes. My main issue is I received a voicemail from him stating he cancelled my membership because I Had complimentary status due to the owners of anytime fitness allowing me to have a complimentary membership. He cancelled it without notice or contacting the location I worked at. He then told me I don’t pay and does not want me there. Very unprofessional attitude on the phone. My wife then cancelled so we can work out together elsewhere. Her contract is up this month but he still tried to milk every last penny and charged us for next year. Owner is greedy and probably shouldn’t own a gym. I am taking my fitness elsewhere more affordable and moe amenities. Sad because I was very loyal to anytime fitness for years and did a lot for the...
