Greek Cafe — Restaurant in Colorado Springs

Impressive.

This place is CLEAN. No sticky floors, no dirty cutting mats, no dust, no crumbs left on the tables. Everything fried was obviously cooked in fresh oil, too.

The food was very well seasoned and prepared. You could tell that someone knew what they were doing, which is rare. It was reminiscent of the home cooked meals my dad (a cook) made growing up.

The falafel were perfect. Warm, well sized, brown on the outside and bright green in the middle. The were moist & flavorful inside. Probably the best I've ever had. Not dry, bland and too large like most places.

The hummus tasted home made, again flavored well, with a nice texture.

The dolmas were incredible. Typically my husband and I despise these little things. Dry, weird flavor, etc. But these were soft, moist, and tasted delicious too!

The spanakopita were not too greasy, crispy, and tasted of fragrant fresh herbs inside.

The raw veggies were clean and fresh, the pitas soft and warm, the fries were very good, and the rice was cooked beautifully and a nice edition. I see the reviews that it was bland, to keep it tasted slightly of butter and tumeric or saffron, but I prefer that to overly salty rice...especially since it wasn't hard and dry.

My husband tried the steak and enjoyed it.

We also tried the baklava. This was a nice surprise, in that it tasted of spices, almost like a pumpkin pie, instead of the usual bland honey. It was very good.

We'll definitely be back, our kids loved it too!

We went to Greek Cafe the day after a major holiday and when it was bitterly cold outside - we were the only customers in the place but the staff were prompt, friendly and attentive.

This may be one of the cleanest restaurants I've ever seen. It's spotless. It was so clean I started searching to see if I could find dirt anywhere and I couldn't. Wow Greek Cafe - I'm super impressed with this!

The menu is simple and the food is delicious and very reasonably priced. We ordered from the friendly cashier and our food was out from the kitchen in less than 5 minutes. Everything was hot, fresh, with great flavor.

If you want to see what a well run restaurant looks like, go to the Greek Cafe. Whoever owns and manages this location is fantastic at their job.

Wow. I've lived here for years and have been in this shopping center numerous times but waited till today to eat at the Greek Cafe. Now I feel like I've missed out in some of the most delicious food in town. I had my toddler with me so I knew I'd be sharing my plate. I ordered the kid's Gyro and was surprised at how much food, mostly meat, came for such a low price. I also got a lamb kabob and chicken kabob and they were beyond delicious. Everything was fresh, juicy, and very very tasty. The staff was very friendly and the service was fast. The restaurant was no frills which is perfectly fine with me, especially when the food is so delicious. I was impressed by how clean the inside was.
