Chris, “one of the managers” yelled at me today, instead of owning it like an adult and moving forward to a positive resolution, he immediately denied it and started launching baseless logical fallacies to distract from the core issue – that he feels justified to bully other people because of his “authority” as a manager. As I’m walking away making an attempt to bring a positive ending to the negative interaction, Chris decided to raise it voice again and interrupt my peace offering only to attempt to launch another lengthy argument. This kind of unchecked childish behavior makes me extremely uncomfortable, especially his threats and tone of voice and large stature and physically threatening pose. My compliant attempts to escape his bullying and de-escalate were mostly unsuccessful. The only thing that worked is when he realized that he was continually interrupting any and all of my attempts to respond to his aggressive line of questioning. When I asked him if he would stop interrupting me so that I could kindly respond and leave. I understand policy and procedure - and I am sure that bullying is not part of it. I hope you have a nice evening Chris. And I look forward to talking with “Jim” to see if we can resolve this issue and get you some help and training. If you want to peruse a career in management, may I suggest a book “Leadership and Self Deception” by the Arbinger Foundation. It explains inward mindset and outward mindset. To your credit, it was late - most likely at the end of a long day. None of us are free from the human experience of making mistakes and cognitive biases. I strongly urge you to take a close examination of these principles, and ask yourself if there is anything you can do to improve these types of interactions. This is a proven method of reducing the perception of you being a bully. I wish you luck on your way,...
Read moreOur large ONLINE order of jars & broken glass being everywhere! of AuntNellie' picked beets and 12oz cans of tuna fish arrived either smashed, broken, or dented & bent with ends popped outward, box eventually torn by all the contents having no bubble wrap around them, and a few useless Air Pillows with no inflation in them, left. We went directly to the store with the shattered jars and dented canned goods to show them what online packers failed to do. They were the ones who had to replace some items and issue refunds for the rest of our goods!!
You are repeatedly informed by both of us in the family how you fail to wrap and pack the products you sell online, over 2 years now!! How do you expect to continue doing business when you ignore faithful, and dedicated customers over 40 years? We have written to you repeatedly and made phone calls giving this feedback for a long time!! You must use adequate and appropriate wrapping materials to secure your items for selling and shipping or you will fail as a company and no longer be one of the top retailers in Colorado. Such losses as you rack up will affect you eventually!! Please send this information and our feedback to those in authority, over you. Brantley took excellent care of us at the store. We will continually come in to the store to shop, take the opportunity to buy items on sale, make certain that he is the one to oversee our concerns, because Brantley actually is concerned about his customers and is good, kind, knowledgable, want our business. I question whether the supervisors of the fillers of online orders train their packers the way Brantley train his people. Maybe your company should promote Brantley to be in charge of the online handlers of merchandise. You wouldn't lose so much business as you do now. We should know. We represent 5 different families around...
Read moreBoth times ive gone to this Target, ive had really bad customer service. At the register, the cashier had a bad attitude when I asked for a gift reciept and I had no idea i had to cut it off of the end of the reciept and she treated me like I was dumb for not knowing. It lead me to leave the gift bag I purchased as she walked away quickly to avoid confrontation. I live far from this Target and I was buying a babyshower gift for that same day and with my super tight schedule, it was very hard for me to return for the gift bag that I purchased. They said they would put it aside with a sign on it saying paid. When I returned over a month later to get it, I was again greated with a horrible attitude and was told they never keep anything aside for that long and it was probably returned to the floor and the woman didnt even bother to look around for it. She stepped away from me again and opened another register to help someone else as I was looking for the reciept that I probably gave my pregnant friend which the customer service lady said I would need that reciept with the gift reciept attached to get a refund but now im out of $5 dollars and a gift bag. The employees in this store have horrible attitudes. Maybe they feed off of each other because even a well dressed employee had a really snooty face like she was working at Nordstrom who passed me as I walked into the store. Maybe they should all sit down and watch another 30 minute training...
