Went for a late lunch today at 3pm. Had only a 5 minute wait. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Our server was "Amanda G" and she got a $20 tip from us. She was absolutely amazing and was working her butt off. She managed quite a few tables and continued to check on us, had a beautiful smile and I would recommend asking for her if you go. The ambiance was excellent and the food was to kill for! I know they are new right now and they're trying extra hard perhaps, but they will blow up huge if they can keep up the friendly attitudes and helpfulness. I would recommend this place to any of my steak loving friends. 5/5 given by me which is a very rare thing. The baby back ribs were falling off the bones, tender and delicious. The sweet potato was huge and my wife loved every bit of her meal. I got the Outlaw Ribeye. Absolutely DELICIOUS!! I had it cooked medium and it was just melt in your mouth good and flavorful. The seasoning was excellent as well. The mashed potatoes were also delicious. My rice pilaf wasn't the greatest and I didn't even eat half of it. It was rather bland and tasted like rubber to me. Other than that, it's a must try. I attached two pictures of our meals. Perfection. Update 2025 - We've been here 3 times since my last review and they've gone completely downhill. The last 3 times, I ordered the same exact thing and every time, it comes out completely different. One time, the server told me, "That steak is VERY seasoned, are you ok with heavy seasoning?" I told her, "The last time I was here, it was so underseasoned and underwhelming, I would gladly welcome it. Please, season it!"... Well, no such luck. I even had some friends taste it and they agreed, bland, boring and simply underwhelming. We hadn't gone back since, but we're going to give them one more chance this week with some other friends. I'll update this one last time because if it's bad again, we'll never go back here. Update 2025 - We went back one last time as I said we would and we were pleasantly surprised. My steak was very good and everyone enjoyed their meals. The only issue my party had was that the server informed one person of sides they could have and he chose his sides. When his bill came, he was charged for each side because they were "premium" sides which is ridiculous if you ask me, but none the less, he wasn't happy that the server didn't say, "By the way, those are premium sides you chose, they will cost extra". In all fairness though, the food was good and we may consider going again.

My husband and I were given a gift card to this restaurant and decided to redeem it for a couple of steak dinners. We put our names on the waitlist online so when we got there, it was only about a 5 minute wait. The hostess sat us and we waited a couple minutes for our waitor to greet us. We ordered our drinks and he said he'd be right back with them and our bread. He returned w/our drinks (no bread) and was about to ask what our order was before he stopped his self and told us he was basically out of all the steaks except the sirloin and chuck steak. He said it was due to a mistake in delivery. I don't blame the reataurant for that- but we should've been told that when we walked in the door- not after ordering drinks and waiting around for 15 minutes. Of course we needed more time with the menu. By this time we were very hungry and still waiting on that promised bread. It seemed like it took forever for him to come back and take our orders. In the meantime he helped take the orders and bring bread to a couple who was seated after us... eventually he came back around... and eventually we got our bread. I ordered a medium rare 8oz sirloin with steamed broccoli and my husband ordered a burger with bacon. When our food came my husband's burger had no special sauce or bacon on it. My steak was very rare and the broccoli was old and yellowed. The waitor came over as he saw me separating the good broccoli from the inedible broccoli... I had to send the steak back. My husband kindly asked for sauce and the bacon that was supposed to come on his burger. While waiting on my steak, I ate enough broccoli to fill me up. I chuckled when the manager brought out my new steak and there was another couple heads of broccoli on my new plate. This time the steak was seasoned and cooked perfectly, but I was too full from all the broccoli so I asked for a box and took it home. We were surprised after all this that there was no discount or free dessert offered. Side note: due to COVID, they only allowed 25 people in the restaurant- so being busy isn't an excuse! The first picture is my first plate (note all the broccoli) 2nd picture- 2nd plate.... even more broccoli!

For greeting, hosting, and seating I'd give this place a 1 star but the server and food was definitely worth at least 3. We tried to call ahead and were told there is no wait so no need to call ahead. We arrived 15 minutes later and were told it was a 10-15 min wait. We waited 15 min and went up to host stand to check our status and were told another 5-10 minutes. We explained how when we called they said they weren't busy and now we have to wait almost 30 minutes?! That's why we tried to call ahead. It didn't look super busy, maybe they went to cuts and had a rush. Idk. Fortunately they found a table BUT it was the worst booth in the restaurant - next to the bathrooms. There were at least 7 open booths around us. From this booth we were able to watch the guests enter and exit the bathrooms and one lady even managed to drag out a long piece of toilet paper under her shoe and out into the restaurant. This spoke to me about the cleanliness of the bathrooms. It took a little while for the server to finally acknowledge us but when she did she saw the toilet paper, apologized, and picked it up. I asked to move since my appetite was slowly dissappearing. She, thankfully, accommodated us. We picked up our silverware and menus and moved to a new booth. From there our server, Marieka, took amazing care of us. She was very attentive and gave us great service! The food and drinks were also stellar! Highly recommend their old fashioned and filet! The plate was no frills but food was good. Honestly, haven't been here in years and only went because we had a gift card but will probably not be returning anytime soon.

  • 1/5 Update* March 2025 visit left me disappointed in the quality of Long Horn with a recent to-go delivery order that I had to retrieve from the restaurant myself after waiting 10 minutes past the delivery window with no contact. The car next to me went inside to get their order & they didn't look happy either. The bar tender finally acknowledged me & told to go I was there, she said they would be with me shortly. No one talked to me or offered a water or approached. Finally, 35 minutes later, my order is slammed on the bar counter by the most disrespectful waitress I've ever had. Not only was the entire order bagged at a lukewarm temperature with half filled & wrong portion sizes of soup (3 bowls were ordered = 6 cups; received 3 half-filled lukewarm, over-salted French onion cups). I didn't want to wait another minute to get that corrected because I requested a manager to discuss the recent issues only to be waiting for 10+ more minutes. When I finally got blessed to talk to someone about the order, there was no apology or understanding with no sense of expediting priorities or customer service experience skills shown while I observed the kitchen chaos & requested a manager to talk with me louder at the entry. Nothing was offered as an explanation for why this happened or any attempt to apologize for this new SNAFU moment. Responded to LH survey & haven't received any feedback from the encounter. Not surprised, TBH.

The visit before this, a waiter accidentally spilled beer on a guest at my table and didn't offer to comp or discount anything.

On the way to the car, the to go waitress saw me approach my vehicle & asked what my problem was! Maybe a lack of communication from you regarding my order delay while it got cold without an apology or the fact that the over agressive expectations of this caliber of service warrants a 20% tip? Tipping in this situation is parallel to a bribe of extortion that our orders aren't screwed with or items are missing. It's not because you are the best at serving delivery orders to a parked car. Sulking while packing orders & ignoring irritated patrons backfires. If I have to deliver my food myself, then I keep the tip.

There was a nice couple who was at the bar eating while I was waiting, they appeared to be having a terrible experience too because a steak was being replaced while she finished her side, then boxed it to go. We shared our discontent at the situation and left with similar distaste in our experience and meals. It will be surprising if this situation improves. Be prepared for lost time, terrible service, and cold food on your future visits.

4/5 Stars due to smaller restaurant size and small steak size choice options. Otherwise, fantastic service each visit and steak cooked to perfection without the overpowering butter topping usually found on steaks. I...

We've been multiple times, but the last 3 times we've walked out after a while despite waiting to be seated and using the app and joining the waitlist. This last time tonight, that was it, we will never return and give them any more chances. Historically, we left because after waiting and later being told only half the restaurant is open due to lack of staff we left disappointed. This most recently, we joined the waitlist en route with a 15 min wait, we arrived and checked in, with many (like 6 groups of 3-5 people waiting to be seated) folks standing around. We decided to sit on the inside benches near the front and bar. There was a lady with 5 kids around her hogging a majority of the wrap around benches. We sat next to her. The hostess came by to grab some supplies from a bench across from us. From that observation, one of the kids figured out that that was a source of entertainment. Loud noises and bench slamming occurred, and the mom didn't intervene nor did the hostess. Soon after that lady's other kid, a toddler, decides my thigh was where she wanted to say hi to with grubby wet paws. Now, I love kids. I think they're important, sweet, and deserving of patience. However, this kid was drooling and touched my thigh. This mom said (she was flirting with a man seated in the bar), "She can't help but touch people." I said "hmm indeed." I ignored them, waiting and surfed with my phone. Right after that, mom held toddler over herself nearer me, and kiddo grabbed my thigh again but even more aggressively and slobberly. I told the kid, "No, DON'T touch me!" I at that time had had enough! I stood up and left, and my husband and mom followed immediately after that. During this experience, we followed closely along with the wait list on the app closely and noticed we went from 4th in line while in the restaurant to 6th, oddly enough. I'm not sure if we angered the hostess or the app is glitchy (unlikely), but I'm done with giving Longhorn any more chances as their staff is uninvolved and aloof, or stressed and unempowered. Regardless, we went elsewhere and rallied the night with Rookies in Fountain, and we're extremely impressed by Rookies instead. Longhorn, you need...
