I made and order of over $30 that consisted of pizza, wings, & cheese bread from this store late Sunday night. By the time I received my order, the store was closed. Me and my husband realized the wings were undercooked as well as the cheese bread after we took a couple bites. There was blood in some of the wings and the meat was pink. There were parts of raw dough in the cheese bread. And the cheese on the pizza tasted old. The store was closed at this point. We both ended up having upset stomachs the rest of the night. In the morning we called and we were told that they would have the manager call when he got to the store. We never received a call, so around 2:30 in the afternoon we called yet again. Once again we were told that the manager would call when he got into work at 3. And once again this did not happen. So my husband called again and finally was able to talk to Adam, who is said to be the GM. Disappointingly he said that his hands were tied because we "waited 2 days" to call them (when it hadn't even been 24hrs) and should have called them about the issue right when it happened, even though they were actually closed, & stated that we should've tried calling any way, because people were still at the store. There was no accountability and even redirection of blame on us. Needless to say, he refused any kind of refund and didn't even once offer to remake the order. We still had the receipt & the food. And just continued to say that "sorry, but there's just nothing I can do." This was so disappointing because I had been so excited for my husband to try Louie's as they have been my favorite pizza place since I was a little girl. I'm a native here & grew up having pizza parties at school consisting of Louie's pizza. So this experience was pretty upsetting. I felt kind of stupid because I had talked this place up so much to my husband only to have wasted over $30 on inedible food and horrible...
Read moreThe food is bomb and I can see why they were voted as one of the top places for Pizza in the Springs! Def recommend. While the chefs and other employees were nice, the manager (Ray Ann) was the grinch who stole christmas :(
Setting: christmas eve - last holiday with me maw (my grandma - not sick, but could die nxt yr due to age [93]). Mission: pick up pizza to fulfill 25 yr christmas tradition of pizza and movies to celebrate Jesus’s 2,024th birthday. Issue: Online order not made (understandable cause holiday), but Ray Ann (self-identified manager) victim blamed me for being late to pick up the order.
Background: Order: One large pizza and cheesy bread to be picked up at 4:45pm. I got there at 5:15 pm cause traffic. Ray Ann (nice at first), asked me if I was “sure” I put in an online order after not being able to find my order under the heat lamp. I showed her the receipts and she BLAMED me for being 30 minutes late, saying “oh, well we had to throw out your order because you were late”. I worked in a pizza parlor for several years (two), and knew throwing out the order after 30 min was malarky!
Because of my inability to fight 5pm Christmas eve traffic in time for the freshest pizza in the springs, apparently, the manager said they had to remake my order and that it would take 15 minutes. This grinch is so lucky that I hadn’t solved the daily Wordle (I did), so I waited.
In sum, while the pizza was awesome, the manager was not. Working on the holidays sucks and I get that orders can be overlooked, but the aggressive attempts of the manager to blame me for this oversight was not fair. She would benefit from a leadership seminar or customer service videos (some on YouTube).
Regardless I will return cause the cheesy...
Read moreTime before last that I ordered delivery from here it took over 2 and a half hours to get our food. I called in to complain to the manager and he took down my info told me the next time I ordered two pizzas it would be free. That was fine by me everything was good again. Next time I ordered pizza expecting it to be free, they had no idea who I was and knew nothing about me having free pizza. Tonight, I ordered a couple pizzas for delivery and the guy told me an hour for delivery time. That's pretty ridiculous considering I live 8 minutes away from the store, but whatever. An hour and twenty minutes later I called in to ask for an update. They said the delivery driver was out and it should be to me momentarily. I said thanks and hung up. twenty minutes after that I called in again only to find out they had cancelled my order. Now misunderstandings happen, but there is no way to misconstrue "thanks for the update" as cancel my order and make sure not to charge my card. This place is ridiculous. Repeatedly failing to do something as simple as drive a pizza to a location 8 minutes away within a reasonable amount of time. When I spoke to the manager he offered me half off and to have it out to me in 45 minutes. First of all, half off to have my order 3 hours after ordering it is simply not good enough. Second of all, this is the third time in a row Louie's has failed at something simple. I grew up here in the Springs, and used to go to this location for lunch during High School in the late 90's and early 2000's. I have a lot of good memories related to Louie's, but their consistent poor service (much more than I wrote here, this is just the last few things that happened) has led me to be...
