Retouch Salon — Local services in Colorado Springs

ThIs review is only reflective of the services that I received. The owner, Debby is a very nice lady. The problem is, we were never on the same page. I went to her for color and cut services for about 8 months. She is very warm, friendly, etc. I repeatedly asked for color that I never got. Debby works on two clients at a time, and I always felt that may have been distracting for her. I asked for an ombre, more blonde than black. It kept getting blacker and blacker with each visit. I finally brought her a photo to explain what I wanted. Then, she removed most of the black, and had the audacity to charge me for a color correction, when in retrospect, I should not have been charged at all, as the extra black in my hair was her error. I now have seriously damaged hair after the color correction. Then, she charged me 20.00 for a very small tube of reconstructor that absolutely did nothing to help it. Each visit, she kept stating that I needed to be patient, and I would get the results that I wanted. This never happened. I gave up. I've been going to Sheadra at Retouch salon for 6 plus years and my husband and son for 2 years. I wouldn't trust anyone else with our hair! Her laugh is contagious & it's so much fun to be in her chair. She is an amazing with styling & coloring hair!! Sheadra gives fantastic hair consultations & the finished product is exactly what you & her agreed upon. She is also my go to gal for any special occasion, she's done my updos & make-up countless time. I had my myself and my 7 bridesmaids hair and makeup done at the salon and everyone turned out looking fantastic. The Salon is always clean, amazing atmosphere, and you are always greeted with the most genuine hello. The nail specialist, Karime, is as sweet as can be and I've never been so happy with my nails before. Her equipment is extremely clean and the pedicures & manicures are fantastic!! I haven't brought a design in yet that she couldn't do. I HIGHLY recommend Retouch Salon to anyone, the ladies that work here honestly love what they do & take extreme pride...

This is the SINGLE most disability friendly salon in the whole city! I've tried so many salons in Colorado Springs in the last 25 years: chains to locally owned and even to being in someone's house. The fact of the matter is, finding a place that's willing to accomodate my disabilities so I can leave the house and get the Queen treatment I deserve is damn near impossible. That all changed when I met Wendy - she made me feel like I could ask for any reasonable measure of comfort I needed. Not only that, she went above and beyond to make sure my special needs were met. The sky's the limit at this salon: if you have a special need for ANY reason, that need will get met because their clients are royalty. Not only all of this: Wendy is truly a talent. I have never been happier with a stylist in terms of how gorgeous my hair looks when I leave a salon! She keeps me focused on my hair goals too, and really asks me what I want and how it impacts my lifestyle. If I could give more...
