If you want to try good Vietnamese food, this is not a good place for you to do it.
Pho was supposed to have really hot broth and they use the plastic bowl to serve dine-in people here, instead of using the normal bowls and have a dishwasher to wash them. A highschool student can know that it is totally not good for your health, so why does a fine restaurant do it?
Vietnamese coffee that they serve is American coffee. The fresh spring rolls (goi cuon) were okay, the sause had too much hoisin sauce. The spring rolls (cha gio) were dĂgusting inside & way too oily. Pho is not good. The broth was tasted like they put too much water on it. This was the first time my husband left almost a whole bowl of Pho while he always finish, eat both Pho and broth at other places.
Also see how much trash that they throw from a table after serving? Everything they use to server dine-in ppl is disposable stuffs.
I had live in Vietnam for 24 years, I know how Pho is and how to eat Pho. I had eatten Pho from 3 areas of Vietnam. We dont eat Pho/ Ramen/ noodle soup by this small-weak spoon. Go to Saigon Wings or Pho & Grill to have better service and foods! The portion is also way bigger than this place. This place has been taking too much advantage from their guetst.
I had been here 2 years ago and wasnât coming back till Motherâs day, everywhere was too busy so we decided to go somewhere else close on the way and we stopped at this place (I didnât realise that I had been there...
Read moreTHE ONLY REASON I AM GIVING THIS RESTAURANT 1 STAR IS BECAUSE OF THE WAITRESS! I went into the restaurant with every intentions of placing a order. However, there was no staff visible when I walked in, so I went to the restroom first. I am pregnant, so I have to answer when mother nature calls. When I came out of the restroom, the waitress asked if my order was going to be for here or to go. I told her I didn't know, I had to go get my family out the car to find out. Before I went out the door, I also asked if they had a to go menu just in case my family wanted to place a to go order & she said they did not. She then proceeded to tell me that the restrooms weren't for the public! đ I found this to be very offensive, because it was OBVIOUS that I was going to place a order! After her attitude & comment, I told her that I was no longer interested in placing a order. I called a few minutes later to speak to the owner. The same waitress answered the phone, told me the owner was not available, she couldn't give me his name, and that he would be in on a weekday, even though today is a weekday... She told me to call back everyday until "he"(whoever he is) answers the phone. đł She then proceeded to tell me that her attitude was my problem, not hers, & that I didn't have to eat there ever again! Considering the responses to the negative reviews that I have read, I'm sure that nothing will be done to correct this behavior. Talk about DISCRIMINATION & poor...
Read moreI am not sure where others were dining, but 'best pho' might be only for those who grew up in the Springs. The pho, which is served in plastic takeout containers (which is not a dealbreaker necessarily if the food is excellent) was oversalted and tasted like grocery store carton broth. It's edible, but certainly nothing special.
Menu with bun and other items seems no longer being served. The menu looked much different than the menus in the photos. Perhaps this was a previous owner.
We had a much abbreviated menu with pho and spring rolls only. No salted lime, plumb, or other typical Vietnamese beverages available. Food presentation looks nothing like most of the photos on the positive reviews.
Young man working the front was polite and friendly. Did his job, no concerns.
Sometimes the very rough looking places have someone's grandma cooking in the back and serve excellent food. This is not one of those places. Poor presentation and lackluster food. You won't be impressed if you've eaten much Vietnamese food outside of Colorado.
In short, the food is edible but unimpressive. I would not go back unless every other area Vietnamese restaurant closes or they hire a real cook.
Pick up a box of broth on your own at the grocery store....
