I went there today for the first time with my grandchildren who are two and four. I brought my stroller with me because there was construction in the street in front of the black forest Café in Delhi was blocked; so I brought my stroller with the two kids in it as we had to walk around the block. I walked in with the stroller and noticed it was very crowded, but I was helped right away. I asked if there were kids meals I was told no I was unfamiliar with the menu. I didn’t want to take long to read all the writing behind the counter on the wall. The gal who serviced and checked us out, said she would be willing to split a hamburger with the kids, I was fine with that. I did notice after my order that there was kids items on the menu that were not brought to my attention. But I didn’t say anything. As I turned to fill the drinks from the fountain; I noticed the gal who checked us out, had her hands on my stroller with my two grandchildren in it and was going to push them I don’t know where! I was shoced and said, take your hands off my children.! Which she replied and said she don’t have her hands on the children. I said you need to take your hands off of my stroller with the kids in it. She said she was just going to move it. I said I was doing my best not to block the drink fridge or the ordering counter. filling my drinks so I could keep an eye on the kids and then we were going to move outside. No one tried to get my attention or to ask me to move my stroller or ask permission if they could move the stroller she just came up from behind and I was shocked to see her hands on the stroller with my kids in it! We done moved outside, and I tried to set the stroller up behind our seats as close as possible so that we could sit down We sat outside and my two grandchildren were sitting as Polite as could be in their seats. Somebody else came out and moved the stroller again to a corner behind our chairs, I didn’t place it there to begin with because somebody was walking through there. I was not being rude. I was not putting my stroller in the way. It was just a tight space. I called and talked to the owner after our experience as I was shocked that somebody would think that they could move somebody’s children without their permission. The owner did not seem to really care and seemed annoyed with me on the phone when I explained to her the situation. I am still shocked that nobody tried to get my attention to ask me to move my stroller or to even offer help when I had two children by myself. I spent $46 for two hamburgers and three drinks. I am shocked to say the least that it seemed OK not only with the person who helped me, but also the owner. I’m not sure I will be back because I was treated so unkindly with my grandchildren who by the way where as sweet as could be.
This is in response to the owner of this hamburger deli….
My stroller was never unattended.
No one ever approached me and asked me to adjust or move my stroller with the children in it.
No one offered to help me with filling drinks for my family so I could move quicker. I only was filling 3 drinks so my stroller with children in it was not in the way that long.
No one should ever put their hands on someone else’s children to move them without permission.
I was not unaware or rude to anyone. I did the best anyone could do with little children. You and your employees were rude to me when you tried to move my grandchildren and my personal property without a word to me. Get a clue…..you don’t touch someone else’s children...

The food? Nothing short of extraordinary. Every dish is a testament to the care and dedication of founder and chef Dragos, whose Romanian roots infuse the menu with a unique European flair. The ingredients are noticeably fresh—sourced with an uncompromising commitment to quality. Whether it’s the juicy, award-winning burgers that locals rave about or the generous sandwiches stacked with premium meats and cheeses, every bite bursts with flavor. I tried the Gyro Salad, and it was a revelation—crisp vegetables, perfectly seasoned lamb, and a tangy dressing that tied it all together. The homemade soups are soul-warming, and the bakery’s pastries, crafted in-house with European tradition, are a must-try. Their gluten-free options are a thoughtful touch, ensuring everyone can indulge in something delicious.
