My band played for the summer concert series at the park nearby last month, so we dropped by here about an hour before our set to grab some food. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere seemed great- definitely a good place to grab a drink.
That being said, I would not recommend getting food here. After about 45 minutes of waiting, half of the group hadn’t gotten their food. The staff seemed generally unfocused and untrained- it took them 30 minutes to even realize they were out of certain ingredients and ask us for substitutes, and we were the only ones in the restaurant who ordered food, so it’s not like they were busy filling other orders.
For those of us who did get our food, it was very clearly baked from the freezer and tasted pretty freezer-burned. We asked our server if we could get the rest to go. We got one sandwich (very clearly thrown together), but the other two weren’t ready by the time we had to leave. The servers did offer to refund us for the food we didn’t get which was nice. I went ahead and called the contact they gave me of the owner to get said refund, and left a message. I have yet to get a response.
TLDR: staff was very friendly and accommodating, but seemed generally inexperienced and untrained. Grab some drinks, but get dinner somewhere else- the food we got, in my opinion, was not...
Read moreWasn't a fan of this place. I'm not a big proponent of "pour your own beer" places to begin with, so there is that. But the staff here, three very young 20 somethings were more interested in talking among themselves and showing the customers almost no engagement. One blonde girl was actively drinking a beer while we were there. I know it's a pourhouse, but c'mon; be professional. The beers on tap were good. They had a good selection. I'll give Trails End that. But the tipping vibe almost felt mandatory. If I'm pouring my own beer, what am I tipping the staff for? 🤔 If they were engaging & willing to talk, then this would have been a different & more positive review One...
Read moreThe is a great place to find incredible beer and cider. It’s a small, self- pour taproom. They don’t have many taps, but they always have a great selection lagers, ales, stouts, ciders, IPAs, and one or two wines or cocktails. There’s something for everyone. The choices change frequently, but they’re always fantastic! The staff is excellent - knowledgeable, friendly and efficient. The food is fine, but the menu is minimal. They do partner with some pretty good food trucks, though, so if you time your visit right, you'll have...
