I try rather hard to not leave negative reviews but I have thought about this all day since we visited yesterday. We go to this Dairy Queen fairly frequently. 3-4 times a month. I was genuinely disappointed in our visit yesterday. I used the app which is super easy to use however there is nowhere to leave notes on your order. The food here is generally quite good. I think the burgers are often as good as Red Robin. Yesterday though we ordered 3 burger combos and a chicken strip basket. 3 of the combos we paid to upgrade to onion rings which they skimped on big time. 6-7 onion rings in each. I thought, "eh don't complain about it. Let it go." But then I looked at the fries on the 4th combo and I kid you not there was maybe 12-15 dregs of the bottom of the basket of fries so I nicely asked the person who brought our order out to the car 'is that was normal?' I was told that yes that's the normal amount and that it is a huge frustration for the staff because many of them think it cheats their customers and they get complained to a lot. No offer to improve it was offered. We got home and the chicken basket did not have the toast points so we got screwed out of that too. I know we will return to this location but I was fairly disappointed with the quality of the food this time. Hopefully it isn't a...
Read moreWhen I walked in the store there was only 1 girl working and helping the gentleman before me. There was a young kid standing in the doorway of the back room. He looked at me and then looked away. I desired oh maybe I should step closer to the counter and he would notice I was ready to order. Nope I was definitely noticed but not being helped. When the girl was done with the previous order she came over and took mine. Then all of a sudden 6 kids came out of nowhere and she asked the one that noticed me if he knew how to make a strawberry julius. His response was I think so... It then took about another 10 minutes just for the julius. He needed help but was getting no support. He didn't even know how to turn the blender on or how long to blend the concoction I assume he guessed on because it definitely wasn't right. On top of that my cup was only 2/3 full. I almost asked for a knew 1 but my food was also ready and I was not going to spend another 15 to 20 minutes there. I wanted to surprise my husband with his favorite fast food and only got the julius for myself. The 1 thing I really wanted was messed up and to boot I was late picking my husband up from work because all of this. There were like 5 to 6 kids working. No adult or supervisor in sight. This is very poor...
Read moreSorry. Every experience i've had here otherwise was great up until tonight. Tried to do my family a favor and get them icecream and the people here have zero listening skills. Came in asking for a medium chocolate covered strawberry, which they swore never existed. I've worked at dairy queen before, I know whats on the menu. Not only did it take me 5 minutes to explain to them the three ingredients it has in it, but they got it wrong anyway. They were snippy when I explained it, which I shouldn't even have to in the first place. Once i got my other reeses outrageous blizzard, the top half was a mess of candy and toppings, and the bottom half was plain vanilla. They wanted me out of their way so bad they rushed my order. They didn't even give me spoons for my other two blizzards, and one was leaking all over my middle console. I waited to ask for them, but the straight up ignored me. I work food service I know customers can be annoying, but they showed zero patience with me. My family was not pleased with the order at all, and it honestly left them in a bad mood, hence, why i'm writing this. I've had a fine time usually, but this left such a bad taste, I won't be coming back. Ill drive the extra mile to go to my old...
