Got a deal for a free Whopper from T-Mobile. I figured, why not? What's the worse that could happen.
I'm waiting in line while other people are ordering and other folks are just being treated rudely before me. I had to order using the T-Mobile rewards code in the app and was the worst experience ever. The app kept deleting the promo as I was customizing the whoppers. Eventually I had to ask the manager and she had me delete and start over, which I had done twice already, but I had given up. So having it "my way" wasn't going to happen. I wanted to whoppers WITHOUT ketchup. Manager told all employees at the grill...NO KETCHUP! Twice! And yet, both burger had ketchup. As I was waiting, other people were getting their orders and the guy behind the counter was still being rude. Just threw the food on the counter and just called out a number. Didn't acknowledge any of the people at the counter trying to figure out which order # was theirs. Just a huge flustercuck. When I finally received my food, I asked for BBQ sauce and was met with a glare as if I had asked for their Xbox account password. It's just BBQ! Finally got home and of course found ketchup smothered all inside both burgers, undercooked fries and overcooked stale onions rings. My roommate and I are now speaking in a new language of stomach gurgles. And I'm searching for the emergency plumber phone # just in case one of us destroys the bathroom.
Suffice to say. Even a free Whopper is not worth the wasted time, the rude customer service and definitely not...
Read moreWe have been neighbors with this location for about twenty years. We are elderly and do not get out a lot to eat. The last time we visited this location the hamburgers' were cold and tasted very poor. We did not want to come back for a few months after this experience but I convinced my wife to try it again. We gathered our coupons that we received through the mail and thought we would get a couple of meals. We really appreciate your coupons and it gives us a chance to try new items. When we arrived we had to wait about ten minutes for the staff to help, and it was no big deal, we were in no hurry but could not find our coupons that we clipped. The staff reminded us that we had to have those coupons that are coded or they could not help us and it was our problem. I understand it is very important to have the coupons, but on the other hand it might defeat the purpose of customers revisiting the restaurant and enjoying the experience. The staff acted like we were taking up their time rather than helping us at this point. I think if I was the manager, I would have some coupons, copy's or originals, under the counter to have the opportunity to help people once in awhile, rather than make it a altercation at their restaurant. I guess we were caught off guard and decided to leave and go across the street to the other restaurant. I think that the Burger King corporation spends time and money and would suggest this situation be handled differently for the opportunity of the customer coming back to enjoy the dining experience.

Read moreCold Chicken nuggets and sandwiches. When we called the store after going through the drive-thru about our cold sandwiches that we couldn't even eat the manager told us that he would have to talk to his crew about it. And that was it! No offer to refund or replace our possibly salmonella tainted chicken that tasted like it had been in a warmer over night.
We contacted corporate about this as well and a few weeks later, we received a letter that said "...please accept the enclosed whopper coupon" and "your comments have been forwarded to the appropriate management team so they can be aware of your concerns."
This kind of upset me, due to the fact that we spent over $25 bucks and they gave us a 12% discount on our inedible meal that we couldn't even eat. (and was in the form of a coupon!)
We do go to other Burger Kings, and I have to say that they are typically pretty good... but my family will never go back to this one and it's clear to us that Burger King corporate is fairly uncaring about our total experience with their brand from their level.
I don't normally leave bad reviews, because I know that they can really hurt business, however... I feel that I'm leaving this as a public service so that anyone who reads it doesn't get sick, or get ripped off by this...
