El Super Taco — Restaurant in Colorado

They used to be pretty good, but not anymore, and the prices are way too high for what they're giving you. You can see the decline in quality from when we first started going there several years ago. Tonight, the wife ordered rolled beef tacos and asked for cheese on top with nothing else. She opens the box and there's lettuce and no cheese. She scrapes off the lettuce and takes a bite. Nothing but corn tortilla. The "filling", and I'm using that term VERY loosely, took up MAYBE half of each taco, so she looks through one end. Not only is the beef about an inch from each end, there's a gap between the top of the filling and the tortilla. I ordered carne asada fries and I had the same issue. I open the container and there's the smallest order I've ever seen. I thought it was a kids meal. I take a bite and everything was literally room temp. Thanks for wasting our time and money. You lost some customers.

Edit: Against my better judgment, I went back for a breakfast burrito. HUGE mistake. Here's a picture of what I was served. It's literally 70% tortilla! I've never seen a restaurant go downhill so quickly while screwing over their customers. This burrito was like $8 after they raised their prices due to inflation. Apparently inflation also means ripping off your customers. I'll never give you...

I wanted to give them 5 stars until..

Their food got me sick, for a week. When I complained with hives all over my arms the employee laughed and said I rolled around in the dirt. My clothing was completely clean and no dirt on me. But she judged me by a rough beard. I served this country for 8 years and ate food all over the world. Never had hives from food before. Never had such rude service, even in a war zone with foreigns serving our food I was never mocked.. Do not recommend. Also the tacos are tiny, nothing super about them, 3$ for a tacobell softy... I reported to local food authorities.

I also recommend training your employees before putting them in front of your business.

Im not saying the food taste bad, im saying the place is obviously not sanitary. Sanitary is not the same as clean. They could be wiping things down with water instead of something to kill germs.

On top of everything they ask for tips, twice. And its really thrown in your face that they are expecting a tip. Will leave you feeling awkward if you dont give them extra cash.

I wasted 10$ on 2 small tacos, a drink, a free foodborne illness and on top of that was judged for having a slightly overgrown beard then mocked for the hives they gave me. I hope you have a nice day. Dont waste...

EDIT: From 4 stars, to 2. I went back to the restaurant recently and regretted it. The food was no different than last time, so that wasn't the problem.

The woman who took my order was unpleasant and irritated by having to deal with customers. She couldn't muster a hello, or even a phony smile. Instead, she just glared at me while I looked at the menu for a moment. I immediately felt uncomfortable, and I could sense her displeasure that I did not immediately know what I wanted.

I quickly ordered a combo meal with a small drink, and the only words she spoke was to tell me how much I owed. I nicely handed her a $20 bill, and she literally threw the change on the counter as she turned and walked away.

On the plus side, there was a male employee (wore a black, pullover Under Armour hoodie) who was genuinely friendly toward the customers as he happily worked behind the counter.

The woman was unfortunately a whole different story, and I'll never return to ruin her day.
