Pass Key Pueblo West Restaurant — Restaurant in Colorado

Purchased 3 of the giant super sandwiches and a sample plater. The wait was ridiculous and paid the bill 20 minutes before even received my order. The place wasn’t busy, possibly 2 other people in sets. The sandwiches have the had one patty the size of a mason jar lid on each half and were so smashed down you could see through most of it. The cheese equaled the size of a regular slice of sandwich cheese and only directly under the patties but yet supposedly 3 different cheeses I’m going with nope. Then expecting tomatoes, possibly other condiments on it but instead got about a tablespoon of shredded to mush lettuce and again only under the patties. But did go out of their way to add about a teaspoon of mustard which how it was to complement an Italian sandwich I don’t get it because it made it taste worse than a McDonald’s breakfast and that’s not good. The sample platter apparently is what took them forever to cook but tastes like store bought straight out of a bag. So, 80.00 dollars later very disappointed especially when we know the family from years ago and the waitress said it was her family? Please look around first this is not at all worth the high price or any price. It was very disappointing do to trying to take the family out for a nice dinner and ending up with one of the most costly and worst meals ever. Please go anywhere but here. I took pictures of or meals so if can post I want to prove my point or if owner would like to see what’s going on if don’t already know and make an attempt to correct the issue, but I can guess that’s a big nope won’t hear back in any way. Oh, also no military or first responder discounts even snickered about it. Please take time to really look at the other food pictures listed, they are stagged photos. who do you know makes perfect cuts to a cooked sandwich or fries perfectly arranged. If you have ever had an Italian sandwich you will be HORRIFIED. My mistake when I ordered the Super Pass Key was not reading the cheeses involved. They do tell you on the menu that one of them will be the god awful American. I missed that.

Okay here's the problem(s) with the Pass Key sandwiches we ordered (Super Pass and Provolone double meat). What the HECK!!!! They split the sausage and pressed it flat (that is giving a HUGE benefit of the doubt that it was fresh Italian sausage) like we had ordered a breakfast sandwich at a national fast food chain.

The Green Chlie Slopper burger that was ordered, sigh, well it was sloppy.

None of the food was nasty; but, it all tasted frozen and cooked.

When I ordered I specifically stated we were a really spicy enjoying family. I asked that all three sandwiches be made as spicy as the cooks could accomplish.

The lovely woman who took my order said the green chile slices would do that; my two year old ate and didn't even blink. So forget spicy.

The onion rings and fries are clearly frozen and taste it.

If I had ordered this meal from a national chain I wouldn't be as bothered but for a locally family owned business I am SERIOUSLY disappointed. For the life of me I can't tell if anything was fresh.

I plan to call tomorrow and ask. I don't want our money back as nothing was nasty but man it's disappointing that I live two blocks from here and I'd rather go to any national chain.

On plus side in 95 degree weather I didn't have to turn on oven, but I've had a better Italian...

Stopped in as it was across from the hotel I was staying at. I ordered the Large Spaghetti with Meatballs and Italian sausage as the website raves about the Italian sausage sandwiches, so i figured I should try the sausage. I did carry out, which in hindsight, was not ideal as the bag was filled with liquid from the spaghetti, no napkins and no parmesan for the spaghetti, which I assume would have been an easy fix eating in. The spaghetti was just ok, but probably my fault for assuming it would be meat sauce, which it was not. The Italian sausage was extremely dry, but I could taste the quality. The meatballs however, were an 11 out of 10. They are MASSIVE, but they are also DELICIOUS! Coupled with the 2 slices of garlic bread, I just made a meatball sandwich and still had a leftover meatball. The staff was overly friendly and courteous even though they were busy. If they do not have a meatball sandwich on the menu, they should. I would go back for that! Overall, because the staff was so friendly and the meatballs were so amazing, I give this...
