This has to be the worst Freddie’s I’ve ever had the displeasure of visiting. Unfortunately it’s not the first time. Several months back I went through to grab a burger and when I got home to feast on what I thought would be a delicious burger I opened it to find the hamburger bun was wet almost to point of being a mush.. It seemed as though maybe the lettuce or tomato had been frozen and as it thawed it soaked the bread..Had to throw it away . No body likes a soggy bun,,,but at least I still had my fries to snack on….. Or not, only took one french fry to know that these fries were cold and old. I promptly called the establishment to voice my complaints as I had just spent $15 on a meal that ended up in the trash. The manager was kind, apologized and she offered me a free meal the next time I stopped in. Trip #2. Several weeks later, after ordering my food in the drive-through, I remembered that the manager had promised to replace my previous meal free of charge. Not!! Since it had been a few weeks I couldn’t remember the name of the manager who had offered to replace the meal that I had to throw out. And they refused to honor the free replacement. Maybe free is the wrong term. Let’s remember I did pay for my first meal that ended up in the trash. So this was just a replacement…. Ended up leaving and enjoying a sandwich from Chick-fil-A. Trip #3 Yes, I’m that dumb.Or maybe I was just that hungry. (And I occasionally crave a Freddie’s burger and this one is only 2 blocks away) Worked 12-14 hour shifts 5 days. Just wanna grab some fast food chow down and go to bed. As I’m sitting in the drive-through, watching the people in the restaurant prepare my order, I noticed a guy ( employee) kind of behind the guy working the window, clearly picking his nose. There is no shame to his game. I’m pretty sure we even made eye contact . When the guy returned to the window with my order, I pointed out the guy and explained that he was clearly picking his nose and asked if he had anything to do with the preparation of my food, or any other food for that matter. Naturally, the kid at the windows only response was, “ not that I know of” .( I was trying to be nice . I was embarrassed for all involved) The kid at the window just kind of shrugged it off and handed me my food. I sat there for a few seconds contemplating, if I should even take the food or just ask for a refund. As I slowly pulled away,… with the possible booger burger not knowing what to do because I was starving and I wasn’t even sure if this guy had touched my food. I was also googling the phone number to call and mention to the manager how horrified I was at what I just witnessed at the drive-through. The manager just said,” yeah sorry about that, if you want to come back through we will remake it for you”… .(there really wasn’t anything he could do or say to make it any better). My response, “hell no!! “ and I hung up the phone as I threw the bag as far as I could in the back seat so that I wouldn’t be tempted to grab a fry because don’t forget I’m starving and unsure if Mr.Booger fingers had anything to do with food prep. When I got home, I decided to check out the burger just to see if it was the same as it was the last time I was there, YEP!!’ Same ole soggy bun!!! Is this the norm for Freddys? Or is it just this particular Freddy's? Or is it just time for me to give up on Freddy s? Because let’s face it fast foods not fast anymore nor is it inexpensive ..I’m a good I’d say about $30 in the hole for food that I literally threw in the garbage. I’ve had bad fast food before, I get it, it’s fast food.it’s not always the best food. But just like everyone else I work hard for my money to just throw it away. With that being said I’ve never felt like it was bad enough for me to take the time to write a review. But here we are folks!! There’s a first time for everything Long story short……save your money If there were such a thing as -⭐️ on here, I would chosen that...
Read moreI have to reduce my star rating to 1, and I'm not coming here again unless something big changes. The inconsistency is astounding.
My most recent visit was disappointing and a really bad look. We ordered 2 burger meals and upgraded the fries to large, plus an extra burger (so 3 total burgers and 2 large fries). I opened the bag to find only 2 burgers and the fries were regular size. We had to ask not only for the 3rd burger but to get the size fries we paid for. Then the food didn't even taste right. Beef was bland, buns soaked in oil. The fries were unsalted, undercooked, and oily. Spent $35 just for the food to end up trashed. I'll be going to a farther location to get my Freddy's salt fix. At least they're always consistent.
In 2019 this was a 5 star place, I've been reducing my rating slowly because it just keeps getting worse.
Previous review - March 2023, 3 stars: I used to have this location rated at 5 stars, but over the past couple years, and especially recently the quality has gone down. There is no consistency in how your food will come out. Fries will either be cold, saltless, warm, over fried, under fried and greasy, over salted, or perfect. Similarly with the burgers they will be cold, warm, under or over cooked, or perfect.
I'm reducing my star rating because of the above, and because the last time I went my order came out slightly wrong (and it took talking to 2 people to correct) and the fries were stone cold and somehow half were hard as a rock and the other half too greasy, and they were unsalted (which isn't the worst because then I can control the salt I consume).
I want to recommend this location, but for...
Read moreThere was a small problem but they took care of it. The food was good and the staff was too. The cook and manager or whoever was helping were great. At first he menu items seemed a little bit pricey but still consistent with other competitors in restaurant that compete with them. There were three of us in the party that to this location. Unfortunately there was an error with our order. We each ordered a sandwich and I ordered a custard on top of that. The order got messed up and I cannot say that it was a cashier's fault because I was asking many questions got a little bit confusing. But I can satisfactorily say that the order was fixed and replaced above and beyond my expectations immediately when it was brought to their attention. We got to keep the sandwich that was messed up and they also delivered a sandwich that was better than the normal sandwich expected to replace the one that was a mistake. the custard was good but you can get a variety of other custards at other places. The burger and fries were exceptional. I like their style of fries and I always have. I was glad to see that they had these type of fries. He Burgers, you can tell were made by people who care about the food and service that they provide. I don't know what your manager was working but I think the manager was there and both the cook an integer and cashier were outstanding with their customer service even in lieu of the error that was mostly my fault because of poor communication. I would come back to this location because they handle situation so professionally and quickly and because their service...
