Don't argue with customers over terminology and then be condescending toward them. There is no room for disrespecting customers in food service. We need to trust you and YOU NEED TO EARN OUR TRUST. I just wanted a coffee, but the BF girl felt it necessary to get into an argument over skim versus non-fat. We were fine up until she laughed and rolled her eyes as if speaking down to her simpleton money giver, and that's when she lost my trust. You cannot trust someone to deliver food products if they disrespect you. I left, and discovered Monk and Mongoose where they let you say non-fat OR skim and they don't speak down to you, so thanks BF girl!
UPDATE: One week later, after being treated badly this morning by the Monk and Mongoose owner, I realized the Bean Foster girl was ALSO probably reacting to the USA flag shirt I was wearing. It is my perception that people who love America are being intentionally discriminated against by some businesses. When I sense this, I just leave. I don't have time for...
Read moreAmazing baristas with awesome roasts. Not as hyped as many coffee shops around, but better than all of them. They do some amazing roasts and make a cappuccino the way it's supposed to be traditionally made, with proper attention to ratios, temperature, size, froth, etc. Also, take a close look at the bags of coffee they have for sale and you can tell this place is special. They do incredible and interesting roasts with a lot of attention to detail, variety and fantastic results. Very under-the-radar roaster in Denver area right now, without all the pomp and circumstance that you get at most "artisan" cafes and roasters. I put them above Corvus, Pangea, Pablos, etc.....and they make homemade scones (in small amounts, get there early) that are so legit I can't even quit. Also…bonfire burritos...
Read moreI really wanted to like this spot. I was super excited to have another coffee shop other than Starbucks so close to our house. I went in to order a salted caramel latte and bought beans to make coffee at home. The girls at the front were really nice and helpful. However, this is by far the worst coffee I’ve had in my life. The latte was pretty but tasted like acid and had no flavor of salted caramel. The half pound of beans cost me $20. I normally would never pay that much but figured I would support small business and if it cost that much it must be delicious. False. We’ve been drinking this every day for a few days now and today may be the last before I toss the rest. It tastes like extremely diluted tea. Really disappointed to say we will not be...
