I was down on my luck the other night- just learning that my friend's old Wizard101 account could not be accessed because his father was incarcerated and that the credit card for that account could not be used. In this seemingly hopeless situation, I decided I shouldn't beat myself up over the unfortunate event, and that I should get some food to soothe my soul. The aforementioned friend's boyfriend drove down to my house and we decided to go a McDonald's. The specific McDonald's? The one on Belleview and Kipling. We walk into the establishment, and crowd around the cashier for our order. The person who came to take it was none other than Rick. This Rick was special. The millisecond he saw us I just knew he'd take care of us. He walked up, fixed his cap, and took our order with a dashing smile. Little did I know he'd handcraft us all a gourmet MEAL. In the back, he personally slaughtered the cow for the patty whilst he was milking it for the cheese. With his foot, he crushed a pig right into a piping hot pan and miraculously made the bacon, he used homegrown wheat to make the bun and reverse engineered Funyuns to make us the Cheddar Onion Burger. Afterwards, in the same breath, he chucked french fries at the moon just high enough to sear the raw potatoes and with such a clean velocity, the fries all sliced themselves and landed perfectly into a large Mickey D's french fry container with glistening salt perfectly distributed- and it wasn't even the entire order. The last thing crafted that night was the chicken NUGGIES. Holy COW. How I wish I could use profanity to describe them. These chicken nuggies were so juicy. So golden. So fresh that you could even suck the milk out a cow's udder, and that milk would pale in comparison with how fresh these chicken Mc'nuggies were. He came out afterwards from behind the counter to see how we thought of the food. We could barely respond as we were stuffing our gullets with heavenly food. He understood. He fixed his cap, leaned to the side with a smile, and gave us THE most heartwarming thumbs-up. Every nasty feeling in our hearts subsided and we knew that everything was...
Read moreManagement here is good and overall the speed and reliability of orders is good as well. HOWEVER there are some younger employees that, to put it family friendly, aren't afraid to let you know they hate their job and don't care about customer service. There is a young blonde woman that worked there today, on Easter. I stood there for close to 10 minutes while she looked back and forth at me and made eye contact about 10 times, doing and saying nothing... continiung to whine about how much she dislikes her job. Finally a manager came and took my payment, which is great. Then when the young woman brought my food out she drops the bag on the counter, looks me in the eyes and says absolutely nothing. If you're going to work in customer service you should bare minimum be able to do your job with a viable amount of integrity and respect. But ignoring customers intentionally and then being dimissive when you do finally engage with them IS NOT THAT. Will not be coming back here, because she is not the only rude employee.. but is definitely the most potent and blatant about it. About 5 times now she's shown intentional ignorance, but today she really amped it up by making consistent eye contact while behaving as such. As a recovering alcoholic with an extreme temperament, it's tough to bottle up my anger after being needlessly treated like garbage. I didn't make this woman get a job here, it is of her own doing that she is miserable here. You'd think it's everyone else's fault the way she stands around and incessantly complains about her job. Treating customers in a trashy manner will inevitably lead to an explosive situation one day. My uncle who does Doordash also frequently encounters her disrespect. I will be calling the regional manager this time, because I am beyond done letting this little princess treat everyone like this. She needs to see what repercussions look like when you behave and carry out your actions ignorantly and...
Read moreEvery time I go through the drive through at this location they have me park in one of the reserved drive through parking spaces and the same young woman with dark hair mixes our order up with another party’s order on que every time. It’s been awhile since I’ve been to this location but decided to give it another chance and sure enough we watched the same young woman switch our order with someone else’s. Our order was enough to feed our family and included a happy meal. We watched this young woman bring our giant bag to this other car with one person in the car, you could tell he was confused but we think he saw the size of the order and drove off with it anyways. Meanwhile this young woman brings us this tiny little bag with hardly enough food to feed one person and we called her out on it this time, politely of course. She knew what she did but lied to us anyways and said the other driver also had a very large order. So we waited another 10-15 minutes for the kitchen to remake our order. In the mean time we watched this young woman try to serve that same little bag all wrinkled up from carrying it all over the place to at least 5 other customers that arrived after us and were also told to park in the waiting spaces. It was pretty comical to watch. Finally she walked back in the store with that same little bag and when she came out she had a much bigger, much less wrinkled bag that was our order after the kitchen had to remake it. This is the 3rd time I can recall the same young woman has done this to us. Do yourself a favor and go to...
