Papa Murphy's | Take 'N' Bake Pizza — Restaurant in Colorado

I am absolutely disgusted by the behavior of the employees at the papa murphy's in Clifton. A gentleman who you could tell by his appearance was less fortunate than A lot of other people. Walked in asked for a glass of water. The gentleman behind the counter said they didn't have any cups for water. Then the gentleman asked if they were hiring the gentleman behind the counter said no they were not hiring the guy walked out. I listened as the employees snickered and made comments "you made a good choice in telling him we weren't hiring" and "Those are the kind of people we don't want working here". I'm just sitting there listening to this. They call my name I get my pizza I go to the car. Anyone that knows me knows I can't let it go. So I pick up my phone and I call them. They pick up the phone papa murphy's. How can I help you today Good Afternoon. I was just calling to see if you guys were hiring. Yes ma'am we're hiring you just need to come down to fill out an application. So I let them know that I was in there just a couple minutes ago and I watched them Tell the gentleman they weren't hiring, I watched them Make comments and smirked about him. I ask if they are part of a corporation or locally owned. They tell me they are all owned by the same person. I explained that I am an advocate for the homeless, That I am a recovery coach and what they just did to that gentleman was wrong. The store Manager proceeded to tell me that they didn't give him an application because they didn't think he would be safe around young kids. I explained to him that that is not his call that he cannot make that decision based off appearance and it wasn't even him that told the gentleman. They weren't hiring. I left my name and phone number and asked for the owner to call me. I have a feeling they won't pass the message along so I called another store in our area gave Them a run down of what happened and left them my name and number to give to the owner also. Pizza is quite good, but that's where the stars end. I recently tried the "monkey bread" and it was horrible. In the picture it looks like little balls of bread to be pulled apart, but in actuality, it was a giant dough clump that was extremely ugly looking and not enjoyable. Also, tonight I walked in to no verbal greeting, or even a head lifted to see I've entered. When I got to the counter to order I started to speak and after my second word into my sentence the employee cut me off and started saying stuff to me. It was unbelievably rude, especially since she had no idea what I was going to ask or say. This led to me retrieving my pizza and the girl barely put ingredients on it that I asked for. Came in ti get some lunch. My wife had called to place a pick up order, the guy on the phone was rude to her. She wanted breadsticks with our order and they said no. I went into the store to pick up our order and asked them fro breadsticks again and they told me no.

Its lunch time on a Saturday, this type of customer service is pathetic. NOBODY MADE THESE GUYS WORK AT PAPA MURPHYS.

There is no reason for this type of disrespect to the people that buy products from the company that pays your wages.

Get a different job if you hate it so much. 12:00 p.m. on a Saturday and you didn't have one of the most common items ordered from your menu ready, then you give attitude to paying customers. Come on guys you can't even handle your...
