My 15-year-old son came to me about a month ago and said he wanted to get a part-time job he’s a football player conifer high school I told him that would be fine that he could work two nights a week and Sundays even spoke with the manager and made it very clear that they understood his availability well the first Friday night of football season my son was on injured reserve protocol for a concussion so they decided he should just work even though it was outside of his availability in fact they called me to try to get him to come in and I explain to them again that he could not work I was with my son when they called him and he told him it was football he probably couldn’t today this Sunday he gets up right now early calls to verify his schedule so he can let me know what time he needs to be At work and he came in with the destitute look on his face to let me know that they had fired him because he did not cover somebody shift for them I am so deeply offended by this if there were any legal recourse I could take I absolutely would this is what fast food does they take advantage of teenagers my son is a good kid with excellent work ethic and as a parent in this day and age when your child is actually doing what they’re supposed to do you cheer from the rafters only to have somebody come and do this to him why because he has the a Dash city do you actually want to make good grades has the audacity to actually want to be a member of his football team and when you were injured you still go to the games so to be clear He was fired because rather than cover somebody else’s Friday night shift he went to where he was supposed to be the conifer high school football game against Woodland Park because he is a member of the team and it was on his listed not available for work thanks Subway what should we expect I mean why would you treat kids what well not like you didn’t hire Jared Fogle as your spokesman I will never set foot in the...
Read moreI ordered online it had a future time which it always does but usually you can get it sooner. Walked in they were slammed because all the other restaurants were closed do to a water issue. So I figured I would stand in line so they could start preparing my sandwiches while I was in line, but lady rudely told me I had to wait till time on my online order, seemed like because I ordered online and had a coupon I was not worthy of their time. She was very rude. Being busy is not an excuse for being rude. Responding back to subway, I did not cut in line, I got in the back of the line, waited my turn and if you take the online orders as if they were in line then I was further back than my order came in. My being in line and requesting my order be made then, should have helped you not...
Read moreNot pleased with the service of the 3 young high school aged employees that were working on Sunday. We asked about the veggie patty and 2 young employees (girl and guy) told us they discontinued it ALL subways in Colorado (which is not true). Yet on the sticker on the glass right in front of them it says at participating locations, so that is why we asked. When we paid and took sandwiches to go they didn't even put the sandwiches in a bag, he just handed them to us. After we left I attempted to place an online order and it says that veggie patty is available for sandwiches and wraps at the Conifer Subway. The Manager should take some extra time to train these guys (including their customer service) so the employees know what options they sell and don't...
