Just went in for a normal footlong spicy italian. Walked through the door with only two people ahead. Only one single employee working in the store. (Where's the management?) The man is very nice and apologizes for the wait. (This guy deserves a five star rating.) My sandwich comes out of the toaster and that's where everything changed and i started to become dissapointed. A lady. ( around middle age) began to put together the toppings on my sub. She had no idea the portion size per ingredient and even attempted to put mustard on my sub after saying mayo a few times. The salt and pepper grinder looked clearly functional but the employee was spinning the grinder so many times that i could tell that she did not understand how that worked either. To add to the mess, subway carries paper squares for the wrapping of the sub. I was immiadiately underwhelmed by the employee's lack of knowledge when using food prep materials. So this square is used to keep the sandwich fresh by minimising the grease in the main wrap. Instead of precedure, she continued to squeeze the square wrap and allow toppings to fall from the sub making it look less appetizing. To make matters worse. Instead of transferring the sub to another square, she completely removed the square and automaticlly wrapped the sandwich without one. Thank goodness another employee had just shown up. He was awesome. Fast and kind. It took him no time to ring me up.
Aside from that, this person had a very entheusiastic attitude. But in reality, a good personality never makes up for experience. If i owned a restaraunt, i would have to let employees...
Read moreI work right next door and the last 4 of my orders took an hour to make through the app, or was always wrong but it was ok because they were always kind and fixed what was wrong, but today I had to go back and got terrible service from the manager. I had to go back for my salad dressing, and had very cold steak and eggs on my wrap. I couldn't eat it and when I let him know he wouldnt remake it or refund it for me. Edit: I contacted corporate for a refund or a remake of my wrap. They said the owner would make contact with me in couple of days. Still no response about a week later. I still have the wrap, just wanted a refund or a remake but this Subway obviously doesn't care. Really disappointed considering I work right next door and ordering through the app was super convenient. Edit number 2 I had to call corporate back and get a gift card instead of a refund for the wrap since the owner or store manager wouldnt respond to my emails or call me. Edit number 3 went to the subway in walmart to use the online gift certificate they gave me, the employee didnt know how to use it and I had to pay for my sandwich. Subways in this area really need better management. The manager keeps parking in front of our front door so our customers cant and glaring at us while he walks by. I will never ever go to another...
Read moreI have been coming to the Monument Subway for 10 years. Lately it has gotten worse and worse until today I feel the need to write a review in hopes management will help do something. The place was discussing. I almost didn’t want to order there. The floor was absolutely filthy. All the booths were dirty, there was a spill left on the floor, the bathrooms were unkept and had overflowing trash. The chips and drinks were not stocked and noone even greeted or acknowledged us. After waiting FOR EV ER for service we were told we would be waiting longer because an online order was ahead of us. Another customer that was waiting behind us finally walked out because they couldn’t wait any longer. One person working is not working! There were only two customers in at the time I was there. Slow, slow, slow and dirty, dirty, dirty. This was ridiculous! Management needs to step in and help clean it up, train employees, and maybe help out or hire!! Next time I’m going to...
