This is an edit of a previous not very good review of this same store. My previous review was clearly a management problem, and I suspect this review is also a management problem. This time was even worse than the last time! So my review went from 2 stars down to one star. I went there at 1:00 PM, April 25, 2019. It was really busy and barely more than one person actually working, but that should be no excuse for not putting veggies on my BMT sandwich. 6" BMT sub had, literally, 1 1/2 cucumber slice(s), 1 jalapeno slice, 2 banana pepper slices, a decent amount of tomatoes (have no idea why they did that!), 3 "pieces" of spinach, no olives and a few onions. The to-go order was for a BMT and all veggies except lettuce and extra spinach. I guess you have to stand there and watch them make your sandwich before they even care..???? Seriously .. when I got home and held the sandwich up, (not squeezing the sandwich, just holding it ready to eat) the two pieces of bread were touching where the bun was cut because there was practically nothing between them! "BMT with everything except lettuce and extra spinach" was the order. Pathetic was the result!!! Then, I ordered an iced tea, but when I tried to get some iced tea, the machine wasn't working. I was told I could get a soda instead. I said "IF I wanted a soda I would have ordered one!" I don't like sugar or chemicals in my drink ... only tea (or water, or BEER!) I wanted to just get my money back but they said I had to stand in line (again). There were 6 people in front of me and it already took 10 minutes minimum to get waited on the first time with 4 people in line, so I just left, came home and wrote this bad review. I have left a lot of reviews for Subway stores all over America, and other than the bad one I left for the Walmart Subway in Falcon, this is only the second one that was sub-standard ... which is TWICE for the same store!!! Go visit the Calhan Subway ... the people there really do care about doing a good job - it's like night and day between these...
   Read moreThis was my first and last time at this Subway location. I ordered on the app at 6:05 PM, and when it said âReady,â I walked inâonly to find that my order hadnât even been touched. I had to stand in line while the one employee there, clearly overwhelmed, finally started making my food. Whatâs the point of marking an order as âReadyâ when it hasnât even been started? Itâs obvious the only thing that was âreadyâ was the attempt to make it look like you did your job.
The lack of staff is one thingâitâs not the employeeâs faultâbut the real problem is management. If youâre not going to prioritize online orders, donât offer them in the first place. Instead, I had to stand there like a sucker, waiting behind other people who were ordering in person, while my prepaid order sat ignored.
This place has zero respect for customer service. After wasting almost an hour of my time, I can confidently say Iâll never be back. If you want a Subway that actually knows what itâs doing, donât bother...
   Read moreJess was training someone new today and she wasnât being patient. She was all over the place trying to do everything herself. I get it they were short staffed and she was probably very stressed but she started skipping customers in line. I was waiting in line and she took my order and then proceeded to help the new employee finish the sandwich of the customer who was in front of me and check them out. She then came back and asked the order of the gentleman behind me and got their sandwich going before mine. She told the new employee to get started on mine and then proceeded to finish the other sandwich even when they told her to do mine first since I was waiting first and she said no itâs ok the other employee will finish hers which couldnât be done at the same time because she was in the way doing the vegetables and they both couldnât share the station at the same time.
