I am admittedly very picky about my nails and knew that I most likely would not get nails that were 100% to my standards coming here, but I had a very special event this evening and no time to do them myslef and the reviews seemed decent. That said, I don't think that these nails would hold to anyone's standard given the price.

The lengths are inconsistent. Multiple fingers are crooked and when I asked the tech to fix the most obvious finger she told me it was my bone structure. 3.Somehow a green piece of lint made it onto my finger and when I asked her to file it off she put more acrylic on it instead. When that didn't work she tried to cover it with some acrylic and powder multiple times before she finally filed it off. Some of my fingers are weirdly thick and the apex is off. The tech kept nicking my cuticles with the drill and hand file which cut up almost all of my fingers. There is acrylic underneath almost all of my nails. Online I believe the stated price was 60$, I was expecting the price to be about $5 higher but I was charged 76$. Since it seems that this salon just opened the price inconsistency is odd.

The big picture is, my nails look fine. However, the owner was dressed very unprofessionally in my opinion and was walking around taking videos (without telling anyone she would be or asking if they were comfortable being in a video) most of the time I was there. The tech who did my nails seemed very nice and sweet and was for the most part willing to change things when I asked, just a little inexperienced. I have only been here three times and I have been unsatisfied each time. The first time I came here I got a pedicure and after asking for deluxe package I was disappointed when they did not do the callous removal the package online says it comes with. The second time I came here was the day before my vacation in which my nail polish peeled off my nails the same night I got home - I have NEVER had that happen in the 12 years I’ve gotten my nails done. The acrylics themselves lifted off of my nails a week later before I even got home to have them fixed from my vacation. And unfortunately yesterday I paid $70 to be mutilated and the design is okay, but it doesn’t look like my picture because the nail tech refused to look at my picture AND I had asked for it to be thicker and he attempted to do it however not what I would expect from a $70 service and I still cannot believe I paid for skin to be removed. I work in a restaurant, my hands are what you see when I hand you food and drinks, elegance? No sir, no ma’am. It feels like the owner takes pride in treating her salon like a runway while everyone else there looks miserable and I am sad to say I will not be returning to a place where it looks like even the employees don’t want to be.

I’ve been a loyal customer for years now, I switched to the new location just because it’s new really. I’m giving 2 stars despite this because this last Saturday 8/31/24 I had a really bad experience. I wanted a fairly simple dip powder manicure with nail art on my ring and pinky fingers. The guy butchered my cuticles on my left hand drawing blood and leaving me with little scabs along my nails. To make it worse he laughed and made light of it when nicking them again with the drill making me flinch. The final top coat also has little bubbles across my fingers that collect dirt and make little black spots on my pale yellow nails. It took him nearly two hours to finish (he struggled with the design) and was so checked out by the end that when I tried to raise a complaint he had another guy come address me to check out… I’m really non confrontational and tried my best to grin and bear it, but I’m kicking myself now because I’m not happy with my nails or the way I was treated that day.
